    Chelsea 3-0 Bournemouth

Steve Cook was the unfortunate defender who helped home Pedro's shot but it makes little difference - the Cherries were well beaten and Chelsea go marching on.

There will be three minutes of added time - but to all intents and purposes this game finished a long time ago.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 90 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Bournemouth

Antonio Conte leads the applause for Victor Moses as he leaves the field. Ola Aina is coming on for the final few minutes.

    Chelsea 2-0 Bournemouth

Chelsea look content to keep Bournemouth at arm's length in the closing stages here, and they are doing it very effectively. Bournemouth have not even had a sniff since that Benik Afobe chance and they have very little time left to change that.

    Chelsea 2-0 Bournemouth

Chelsea are cruising at home to Bournemouth, but the away side have actually had more possession than their lofty hosts, now nine points clear at the top of the league (with Liverpool still to play later of course).

The Cherries have been neat, tidy and maybe too nice?

Harry Arter, Jack Wilshere and Adam Smith each had 100% passing accuracy in the first half, but that's now dropping south of 90% as Eddie Howe's side begin to realise they must take more risks.

    Chelsea 2-0 Bournemouth

Not much happening in this game now - Bournemouth look beaten. Chelsea look comfortable.

Still time for another Chelsea change, though - off comes Willian and on comes Nathaniel Chalobah.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 76 mins

Chelsea continue to let the visitors have the ball, then hit them on the break.

AGADA .B. CHRISTIAN: My advice for Hazard: leave Chelsea for Real Madrid or Barca and get Ballon D' Or. He is a genius with great feet.

Dennis Ethan:, externalChelsea are nine points clear as it stands. Who can stop them? I have a feeling that a rough patch is imminent.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 73 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth chances have been few and far between since the break but Thibaut Courtois comes to Chelsea's rescue here, rushing from his goal to block Benik Afobe's shot with his legs after the Cherries substitute ran clear.

    Chelsea 2-0 Bournemouth

Chelsea want another penalty here, after another quick-fire break.

Eden Hazard turns inside Steve Cook and hammers the ball at Dan Gosling. It does hit his arm, but from point-blank range, and he could not exactly do much about it. Referee Mike Jones feels the same way and awards a corner instead.

Pedro fires wide for Chelsea from the edge of the area and Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has seen enough.

Not much bad news about for Chelsea so far today, but here is some: Pedro is booked for a tackle on Harry Arter and he will be suspended for their next match, against Stoke on New Year's Eve.

Chelsea are looking dangerous every time they come forward. A quick break sees Eden Hazard work the ball out to Willian, who is denied by a sharp stop from Artur Boruc.

The resulting corner is cleared as far as Victor Moses, who sees his dipping shot from the edge of the box bounce a yard or two wide.

Another Chelsea attack, this time featuring a dangerous low cross from Willian, who fizzes it across the six-yard box from the right. Again, Pedro is lurking but Artur Boruc is down sharply to collect.
