Chelsea 1-0 Bournemouth
Not a bad response by Bournemouth, who come forward with real intent. Jack Wilshere bustles his way into the Chelsea area and forces a decent low stop from Thibaut Courtois.

It is a beautiful touch to control the ball from Pedro. It was still stuck under his feet a little and then he dug it out like a nine iron into the top corner.
Pedro (23 min)
Pedro does rather better here, mind... with the help of a slight deflection.
Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas combine on the edge of the box and find Pedro who digs out a shot despite having defenders all around him. It takes a nick off one of them, and loops into the top corner.
Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth
A nice move here from Chelsea, featuring David Luiz, Eden Hazard and, galloping on to Hazard's pass, Pedro.
The Spaniard gets on to the ball near the left-hand corner of the Cherries box but, with the visitors' defence sprinting to get back, he cuts inside and delivers a ball that is neither shot nor cross, and ends up drifting well wide of Artur Boruc's left-hand post.
Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth
What do Chelsea do when Diego Costa is suspended? Well, you might imagine that they would play Michy Batshuayi in a straight swap, but they haven't.
Instead Eden Hazard (10), Pedro (11) and Willian (22) are all flitting about in a very fluid front three. It's been pretty - but also pretty ineffective so far.
Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth
Cesar Azpilicueta has been one of Chelsea's stand-out performers in their 11-game winning run and the Blues defender is on his toes again here to cut out a dangerous ball into the Blues area that was intended for Joshua King.

Some unbelievable challenges in this game so far.
Bournemouth are certainly not just here to make up the numbers.
Jack Wilshere is going into some of these looking like he is TRYING to get injured.
Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth
Our first card of the game sees Bournemouth's Jack Wilshere booked for a clumsy challenge on Eden Hazard. The bouncing ball was there to be won - but Wilshere barged his man over.
Being clattered has not taken the wind out of Hazard's sails, however. He has just had his side's first shot on target - a daisy-cutter from distance that is easily saved.
Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth
Chelsea have looked more threatening so far but they have had some defending to do too. Marcos Alonso just had to deal with a deep free-kick hoisted into the Chelsea box, heading behind to give Bournemouth their first corner of the game... which the home side clear with relative ease.
Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth
It came to nothing but we have just seen some neat touches from Eden Hazard and Willian on the edge of the Bournemouth area - no way through for Chelsea yet though.
Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth
Pedro looks lively so far, and almost catches the Cherries on their heels for a second time. He darts on to a quickly-taken Cesc Fabregas free-kick but Bournemouth defender Simon Francis is alert and gets across to mop up the danger inside his own area.
Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth
No panic from Bournemouth when they are in possession, though. They are still playing some neat passes in their own half and feeling their way into this game.
Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth
Chelsea are pressing Bournemouth high up the pitch, and the Blues are passing the ball around nicely when they win it back.
Chelsea 0-0 Bournemouth
Chelsea start by launching the ball forward straight from kick-off (well, via David Luiz after Eden Hazard rolls it back to him) and almost find Pedro in the Bournemouth box. The Cherries clear their lines, however.

Hugs all round from the Chelsea players as they wait for kick-off. Pedro gives David Luiz's luscious locks a friendly tug too.
Bournemouth? They go for a team huddle. Strong.

You may remember the Cherries won this fixture last season thanks to a late goal.
They also put four past Liverpool the last time I saw them play, but away from home they've only managed to win one of the past 10.
The best news for Bournemouth fans is that Chelsea will be without two key players in Diego Costa and N'Golo Kante.

The players are in the tunnel at Stamford Bridge... how will they line up on the pitch?
Our graphic below shows Pedro as the man in the middle of Chelsea's three-pronged attack, but Eden Hazard is expected to take that central role in Diego Costa's absence.
Some uncertainty over Bournemouth's formation too. There is talk at Stamford Bridge that they will match up to Chelsea's 3-4-3 formation, but we will have to wait until the game starts to find that one out.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will see his team play Bournemouth later on Boxing Day as he experiences his first busy football Christmas.
He was joined by his wife and daughter for a brief celebration - and was delighted that his work commitments ensured he did not have to do any Christmas shopping.
"In this period, we're used to going on holiday for a week," he said.
"You have to celebrate Christmas with the family. It's not important where you stay, but it's important to stay together with your family.
"I don't like to buy gifts. I don't like this. My wife does this. She is a fantastic person. I don't like going to the shops. My wife spends the right money, not a lot of money."
I wonder how much the right amount of money is for a Premier League manager?..

As you cast a final eye over your fantasty selections consider this:
There will be no Boxing Day goals for Diego Costa this year. Guaranteed.
The in-form striker is suspended and he will be missed. Costa has scored 13 of Chelsea's 35 Premier League goals this season. In addition, the former Atletico Madrid forward has provided five assists.
