This is the ideal chance for Klopp at the end of this game to take a Mane or Firmino off because of their work rate in this match.

Mark Hughes had to do something. On comes winger Ramadan Sobhi for Glenn Whelan.
Liverpool 3-1 Stoke
Liverpool look nailed on to score more here. James Milner's cross to the back post is headed back into the danger zone by Divock Origi before being claimed just ahead of Sadio Mane by Lee Grant.

Mark Hughes has to consider Bojan or Shaqiri from the bench. He has to change things.
Liverpool 3-1 Stoke
Liverpool have now scored 85 league goals in 2016. It is their most in a calendar year since 1989. They've still got a game to go as well.
Liverpool 3-1 Stoke
Nearly 4-1. Sadio Mane is free in the box but his effort deflects just wide of the far post off a Stoke body.

Excellent play from Liverpool. It was a lovely incisive pass from Henderson to set Origi away on the left-hand side.
Imbula did so well to track the run of Mane, he couldn't do anything else.
Giannelli Imbula own goal
This could decide it. Liverpool extend their lead by cranking up through the gears to send Divock Origi away down the left to provide a low cross that Giannelli Imbula pokes into his own net. He had little choice. If he hadn't got his boot to the ball, Sadio Mane would have scored.

David Simpson: The Kop. Class. Round of applause for Joe Allen, and little joke and laugh with Peter Crouch. Always remembered.

This is a big test of Liverpool's character in the second half now.
It is about staying solid defensively and getting a third goal to kill Stoke off.
Liverpool 2-1 Stoke
Peter Crouch gets a ticking off from the home fans as he removes the corner flag in frustration and leaves it on the turf. The Stoke striker turns the jeers into cheers by replacing the flag. There's a good lad.
Liverpool 2-1 Stoke
James Milner is having a really good game. Diouf gets space on the right to cross but Milner is in, in a flash, sliding to block.
Liverpool 2-1 Stoke
Stoke win a free-kick as James Milner jumps on the back of Jon Walters in the Liverpool half. It is a chance to create something but Stoke completely waste it as the delivery from Imbula is floated harmlessly out of play. That is the cue for Mark Hughes to send Wilfried Bony off to warm up.

Milner has been excellent again today.
He and Lallana have provided Liverpool's attacking threat.
That must be his fifth shot. He should have crossed it to players in better positions but you could see what he was trying to do.
Liverpool 2-1 Stoke
James Milner with the first real effort post-break. He exchanges passes with Sadio Mane on the left but curls his angled shot well wide of the far post.
Liverpool 2-1 Stoke
Bit of a messy start to the half. Neither side holding on to the ball well. No chances yet.
