More slack play from Celtic and Borussia are away at high speed, this time Andre Hahn slices his final shot wide of the target.

  2. goal

    Andre Hahn

Another shocker from experienced defender Kolo Toure, who was maybe Celtic's best performer in the first half. He's caught dithering on the ball near the halfway line and Andre Hahn speeds away to fire a shot into the top corner. Toure made a last-gasp lunging tackle and might just have got the final touch...

Approaching the final 15... Celtic need to take a few risks and get men forward.

    Celtic 0-1 B M'gladbach

A double change for Celtic, with Leigh Griffiths and Patrick Roberts on for Tom Rogic and James Forrest.

The hosts really need to get something tonight. A defeat would be so damaging to hopes of European football beyond Christmas.

A couple of corners in quick succession for Celtic, with Erik Sviatchenko prodding a deflected effort onto the roof of the net.

A change in the Celtic midfield and it's no surprise to see Nir Bitton jogging off. On comes Callum McGregor.

  12. RED CARD Barcelona 1-0 Manchester Citypublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 19 October 2016

    Claudio Bravo

Manchester City are down to 10 men with goalkeeper Claudio Bravo sent off. His pass goes straight to Luis Suarez and, outside the box, he sticks his hands up to stop the Uruguayan's lob going past him and into the net.

Nir Bitton strides forward from the Celtic midfield but can only drag a weak effort wide. It's not been a great night for the languid Israel international.

    Lars Stindl

Oh dear. I almost don't know where to start. Kolo Toure is caught trying to shepherd the ball out inside the six yard box and Andre Hahn digs the ball back into play allowing Lars Stindl to have a lash and the striker's low, angled shot goes through the legs of Craig Gordon at his near post.

An ugly, ugly goal to lose but the better team are ahead.

    Celtic 0-0 B M'gladbach

The Borussia one-touch passing is so much sharper than Celtic's. The team in black are beginning to dominate again.

    Celtic 0-0 B M'gladbach

Celtic can only half clear their lines from a corner and Tobias Strobl digs out a shot from the edge of the box. Goalkeeper Craig Gordon looks cool as frozen cucumber as he watches the ball sail narrowly wide.

    Celtic 0-0 B M'gladbach

A nice passage of play from Celtic as Mikael Lustig ventures forward to swing in a cross from the right. Scott Sinclair is up unchallenged but his header from 15 yards flies well wide.

  18. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Celtic 0-0 B M'gladbach

The home fans are doing their best to rouse their favourites by cranking up the noise again. Celtic skipper Scott Brown is dropping very deep, almost like a sweeper between the two centre-halves.

  19. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Celtic 0-0 B M'gladbach

The visitors get the game started again. No changes in personnel.

    HT: Celtic 0-0 B M'gladbach

Do Celtic need to change their approach or maybe just be a tad more composed in possession?

BBC Sportsound co-commentator Scott McDonald wants to see wide men Scott Sinclair and James Forrest drop deeper and get involved in the build up earlier.
