It's been a lively, open game but lacking the kind of precision or swiftness in attack to deliver any clear cut chances. These are two well-matched teams, and it is going to be a moment of quality or misjudgement, rather than sustained pressure, that is going to deliver any goals. Liam Polworth has looked alert for Inverness, while Motherwell have made threatening advances down their right-hand side, with the full-back Richard Tait and the young midfielder Ross MacLean slinging in good crosses.

Rangers winger Michael O'Halloran, booked earlier for simulation, hares down the right and cuts the ball back for Jason Holt, who pings in a shot that is well saved by Zander Clark.

Manager Tommy Wright has been touting Clark for a Scotland call up this season and the 24-year-old has made an assured start this evening.

Scott Fox comes to County's rescue. Liam Henderson breaks into the box and squares it for Ryan Christie who is denied by a very smart save from Fox low down to his left.

Leigh Griffiths drives into the box and looks set to double Celtic's lead but Paul Quinn makes a great sliding tackle to divert the striker's shot wide of the post.

From the resulting corner the ball ends up with Patrick Roberts at the edge of the box but his shot is straight down the throat of County keeper Scott Fox.

Ade Azeez crashes a header off the bar as Partick Thistle come the closest in the opening stages at Dens Park.

It's a howler from Hearts striker Tony Watt. The cross reaches him unmarked at the back post, a yard from goal, and all he has to do is tap it into the net. But, he somehow contrives to miss-kick the ball and Kilmarnock get it clear.

A huge chance for County to level as the returning Liam Boyce goes clean through on Craig Gordon after a mistake from Mikael Lustig. Gordon is out quickly and saves Boyce's effort with his left foot.

Good goalkeeping but Boyce will be disappointed with his finish.
