Robert Snodgrass is over the ball, an in-swinger finds Michael Dawson and he will fire... wide. That was a half chance. Some 12 yards out, he had space on his left peg but bodies in front of him.

The last time Hull won a Premier League game, Hillary Clinton still had hopes of becoming president of the United States of America.

Their win over Southampton on 6 September came three days before Clinton got Trumped. As many as eight league games have passed since, with the Tigers unable to register a victory.

They have just one in 17 league outings. You wouldn't think it on this early showing though, plenty about them.

Tom Huddlestone has a sweet right peg, he catches the ball like a golfer his a seven iron on times. From 35 yards he finds the target but Ben Foster can eat a three-course meal before picking that up.

It will be no surprise that Robert Snodgrass is over this free-kick - his set pieces were delicious against Everton a few days ago. Here he comes, left footed... Ben Foster pushes the ball away. A good effort.

Hull look supremely confident, Tom Huddlestone, Jake Livermore and Curtis Davies keep the ball at the back but they overplay and James Morrison cannot quite release Salomon Rondon. That could have been costly.

It's a standard 3-5-2 from Hull it seems against a 4-2-3-1 from the home side, Morrison the closest man to Rondon through the middle.

A quiet start for Matt Phillips but he has fireworks in his boots right now...

Hull's third corner in the opening seven minutes is well headed clear in the six-yard box and West Brom need to wake up. They try to break but Curtis Davies is there to launch into a tackle on halfway.

Adama Diomande playing with more confidence than a man with just two Premier League goals this season. He peels into the right channel and only has eyes for goal. Faced by a home shirt he pushes the ball onto his right peg and has a lash, wide. 

Good stuff this by the visitors, they've started like they mean business in 2017.

Hats off to Hull for this start, this time it's Adama Diomande proving a handful for Jonny Evans and a corner is the reward. Robert 'the magician' Snodgrass over it, a lot of whip, it ricochets harmlessly for a goal kick.

Hull City also made two changes, Tom Huddlestone comes in, as does Sam Clucas. Hull are desperate for a clean sheet and a goal away from home, they haven't scored one in over two months.

A positive start by Hull City as Ahmed Elmohamady gets forward down the right - his cross is deflected for a corner. In it comes, towards Harry Maguire... stretch... he heads wide.

Maguire was asking his body for every inch, not quite enough.

"Albion sit eighth in the table following Saturday's comeback win over Southampton.

"Pulis' first league game in charge was also against Hull in January 2015 and he'll be happy if history repeats itself as Albion were 1-0 winners that day.

"Hull have been on a wretched run of results away from home, losing the last seven in a row.

"I saw them at West Ham just before Christmas and thought they were very unlucky to lose, but it's hard to see a way out of the bottom three for a side who've won only one of the last 17 league matches."

It wasn't so long ago West Brom fans wanted Tony Pulis out. The football was boring, they weren't getting results, but now they're eighth in the table.

You have to be careful what you wish for. Having a manager that knows the Premier League so well, they are scoring goals now.
