  1. 'Leeds got sucked in by Origi'published at 21:28 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2016

    Liverpool 2-0 Leeds

    Danny Mills
Ex-England defender on Radio 5 live

That is a fabulous finish at the far post, as Woodburn blasts it into the top of the net and gives the goalkeeper no chance. Leeds defenders, two or three of them, get sucked around Origi at the near post, and then it was helped on by Wijnaldum.

  2. goal

GOAL - Liverpool 2-0 Leedspublished at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2016

    Ben Woodburn (80 mins)

    Game over.

What a delightful goal, absolutely sumptuous football from Liverpool.

Divock Origi starts off the move, exchanges passes with Sadio Mane who backheeled a ball through to the Belgian.

He evades the attention of three Leeds defenders before playing it to Georginio Wijnaldum, who flicks it on to Ben Woodburn.

Without hesitation, the 17-year-old lashes a finish into the roof of the net for his first Liverpool goal...in front of the Kop.

    What dreams are made of.

    Liverpool 1-0 Leeds

Leeds now ruing all those missed chances.

With 10 minutes to go, can they bag an equaliser to take this contest into extra time?

  4. Postpublished at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2016

    Liverpool 1-0 Leeds

Divock Origi has problems with a leg injury in the lead up to that goal and it looks like he cannot continue.

Oh wait, he's back on the pitch and James Milner is told to put his bomber jacket back on.

  5. 'Silvestri should have gambled'published at 21:24 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2016

    Liverpool 1-0 Leeds

    Danny Mills
Ex-England defender on Radio 5 live

It was a really good whipped cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ayling got caught out of position and Origi nicked in behind. Silvestri stopped, but I think he was in a good position to come and get that one. He should have gambled.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2016

    Hull 0-0 Newcastle

Naughty from Andrew Robertson who shoves Newcastle defender Jamaal Lascelles into an advertising hoarding. That's the third booking of the match.

  7. goal

GOAL - Liverpool 1-0 Leedspublished at 21:21 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2016

    Divock Origi (75 mins)

    And there is the opener.

Former England opener and Yorkshireman Geoffrey Boycott will love this delivery from youngster Trent Alexander-Arnold, who plays an unplayable ball into the corridor of uncertainty.

The Leeds goalkeeper can't come out for it, the Leeds defender can't stretch his leg out enough to nick it away.

In between, Liverpool striker Divock Origi sneaks in to poke the ball into the net.

    Leeds supporters silenced.

  8. Postpublished at 21:19 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2016

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

15 minutes remaining, it's 1-1 in the 'hitting the post challenge', but neither side has yet managed to ripple the net.

  9. Postpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2016

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

    Jonathan Jurejko
    BBC Sport at Anfield

Liverpool have not lost against Leeds in their previous eight meetings, a run stretching back to April 2001.

Can you remember who scored for Leeds in a 2-1 win at Anfield? Well done. Rio Ferdinand and Lee Bowyer.

This one could go Leeds' way yet. Or Liverpool's. Oh, who knows. Let's just enjoy a cracker of a cup tie...

    Hull 0-0 Newcastle

    Pat Nevin
Ex-Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 live

The quality has been OK from both sides defensively. Newcastle look classier in midfield but there's little creativity. There's a reason why teams pay £20m or £30m for strikers.

It is a surprise that neither manager has made a substitution yet. Remember, the managers have to think someone will make a difference. They don't want to weaken the side.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2016

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

They've been on the receiving end of plenty of goalmouth action, but Liverpool almost grab the opener.

Sadio Mane slips through a delightful pass into the area for Georginio Wijnaldum, but the Dutchman's shot comes back off the post.

Youngster Ben Woodburn cannot gobble up the rebound.

  12. 'Leeds haven't had the killer touch'published at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2016

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

    Danny Mills
Ex-England defender on Radio 5 live

Leeds have a fantastic opportunity to get themselves in to the semi-finals. They have made the better chances, but they just haven't had the killer touch to go 1-0 up.

If these two EFL Cup quarter-final games stay 0-0, we will be heading into extra time. Don't start warming your beds up with those hot water bottles just yet.

  14. Postpublished at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2016

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

This is the last thing Liverpool need, as striker Divock Origi limps away following a challenge with a Leeds player.

Concern for boss Jurgen Klopp on the touchline.

  15. Blades still trailingpublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2016

There's around 20 minutes left in League One where Walsall still lead Sheffield United 1-0 courtesy of Amadou Bakayoko's goal just before the break.

Blades defender Jack O'Connell has had the ball in the net but his effort was ruled out for pushing by a team-mate in the build up.

Remember, Sheffield United would go second with a win and boasted a 15-match unbeaten run in league football going into the game.

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

    Jonathan Jurejko
    BBC Sport at Anfield

A warm round of applause from the Liverpool fans as Wales Under-19 international Ben Woodburn comes on for his second senior appearance.

I get the impression that the home supporters are thinking "he ain't going to win us this game".

We'll see. They have hardly got a bench that will frighten the life out of Leeds to be fair...

Leeds have had chance after chance, surely they have to take the next one that comes their way.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:12 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2016

    Hull 0-0 Newcastle

This tie is not only devoid of drama..it's now become extremely niggly.

Yoan Gouffran becomes the second Newcastle player to be booked in a short space of time for leaving his foot in on Ahmed Elmohamady.
