    Hull 0-0 Newcastle

Dieumerci Mbokani has the ball in a decent position and tries to thread a pass to a team-mate. It drifts out of play. It sums Hull's first half performance up perfectly.

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

From one side to the other.

Liverpool striker Divock Origi shows his pace by bursting clear deep into the Leeds half, but sub Kalvin Phillips does his defensive work well by tracking and winning the ball back for his side.

Two minutes to half time, Leeds will be hoping to hold out.

It is a good job that move didn't lead to a goal because that was a shocking decision by the assistant referee. Garry Monk was complaining, and even Jurgen Klopp shook his head to intimate it was at least a yard in his own half.

He'll be enjoying this performance for the men in white, who are biting at the legs of Liverpool at every opportunity.

    Hull 0-0 Newcastle

    Pat Nevin
Ex-Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 live

This is one of the most one-sided games I have seen this season. It's the team from the Championship who are doing all the running. If there is one positive for Hull boss Mike Phelan it is that there is no height up front for Newcastle.

These Liverpool players haven't played a lot together, but sometime you can get away with that if the team you are playing aren't doing well. But this is a Leeds side that is doing very well in the Championship.

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

Leeds man Kemar Roofe is adjudged to offside by the referee's assistant...

...despite running onto the ball from inside his own half.

That should be a sackable offence for the man with the flag.

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

Leeds are not really afraid to get stuck in and are letting their opponents know they won't be pushed over here today.

This time Gaetano Berardi is in strong on Emre Can, who doesn't want to know about the 50-50 challenge.

Johnny Magrinho: Struggling to see why Moreno is anywhere near this Liverpool team. He's a woeful defender & offers little going forward either.

Andrew Neil: Is it just me or have nufc been pretty inefficient in front of goal most of the season? Need lots of chances to score normally.

    Liverpool 0-0 Leeds

What are Leeds doing at the back??

It's a right old mix-up as Kalvin Phillips' pass is left by Kyle Bartley.

With goalkeeper Marco Silvestri slow to come off his line, Emre Can nips in to poke a shot narrowly wide of goal.

Garry Monk whistles down the touchline to Kalvin Phillips. "Get stripped off son, you're coming on," seems to be the gist after that knock for Eunan O'Kane.

Irish midfielder O'Kane doesn't seem too affected though, walking off before saying to Monk - probably - that he feels he could have carried on.

Isaac Hayden feeds Matt Ritchie, whose curling strike from the edge of the box flies just over.

The Magpies are well in control of this but can't get the breakthrough.
