We are under way in the second half.

Suso is the second Spanish player - and the first for AC Milan - to score in a Milan derby.

The first was Luis Suarez. No, not the bitey Uruguayan, the Spain international who played for Inter for most of the 1960s.

Mario Balotelli is reportedly at the San Siro tonight watching the Milan derby. The Nice striker is suspended for their game with Saint-Etienne but has opted not to watch his side play.

The striker has played for both AC and Inter Milan.

Suso, who scored once in 21 appearances for Liverpool, has been involved in four of Milan's last five Serie A goals - scoring two and assisting two.

Chances at both ends but Saint-Etienne, and Roux in particular, have had the best of them. The game has improved a little after a scrappy opening.

As things stand the gap between Milan and Inter is 11 (ELEVEN) points.

And now AC Milan test the keeper again, but they should have done better. Carlos Bacca shoots straight at Samir Handanovic but he had other options.

The first time I've had to mention Inter's goalkeeper today as Samir Handanovic is finally called into a save. Mattia de Sciglio fires in a venomous shot from just outside the box but it's straight at the Slovenia international.

A huge let-off for Milan. Antonio Candreva takes a woeful shot from outside the box which is going nowhere near the goal and just about clips the back of Mauro Icardi's heel. Had the shot been a bit quicker - or a bit nearer goal, then Icardi could have turned it home.

Inter Milan have to make a change at the back as Gary Medel limps off to be replaced by Jeison Murillo.

Roux misses a superb chance for Saint-Etienne on 33 minutes as he sends a free header from a left-wing cross straight at Nice goalkeeper Yoan Cardinale. The home side are on top at the moment.

But immediately it's Inter attacking again and Ivan Perisic heads a corner wide. Ten minutes until the half-time whistle, which Milan will be happier to hear.

AC Milan have a rare attack but Giacomo Bonaventura thinks he's Ricky Villa in the FA Cup final and tries to take on everyone instead of finding a team-mate.

But he's not Ricky Villa so it ends in running into a defender, rather than a wonder goal.

The home side scream for a penalty for handball against Dante. The ball bounced up and hit the defender on an outstretched arm. It looks like Saint-Etienne had a strong case, but the referee disagrees. 

Crazy play by Milan defender Mattia de Sciglio. He escapes a caution with a reckless sliding tackle and then 20 seconds later he puts in an identical challenge on Antonio Candreva. He gets booked for that one. 

Both offences were worse than the first two guys booked.

Ricardo Pereira and Jean Michel Seri combine again for Nice but Seri's shot from Pereira's cross is saved well by Stephane Ruffier in the Saint-Etienne goal. The best moment of the opening half-hour.

Antonio Candreva smashes in a shot from 20 yards out but it bounces wide. You wouldn't think Inter were the team having the bad season. Maybe their managerial change is working?

AC Milan keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma makes a hash of a simple kick and it's out to winger Antonio Candreva, who (fortunately for Milan), can't make the most of it.

And now Donnarumma gets an unconvincing punch onto a corner. Nervy, nervy moments.

It's all Inter at the moment as Geoffrey Kondogbia flashes a header from a corner wide. Nervous times for Milan.
