Real Sociedad are still dominating and Mikel Oyarzabal wastes a cross which he fires out for a goal-kick. Barca defender Gerard Pique, who had a 'sore foot' coming into this game, doesn't look too hot at the moment.

Real Sociedad have really come flying out of the traps here. They seem to have total confidence that they can take the game to Barcelona and win. A brave approach. But will it look wise in two hours' time?

Earlier today, Atletico Madrid beat Osasuna 3-0 to move back up into the Champions League places - overtaking Real Sociedad in the process.

They also moved above Villarreal, who suffered a surprise 2-0 defeat by Alaves. Celta Vigo beat Granada 3-1.

Juventus have just confirmed that right-back Dani Alves, who left Barcelona this summer, broke his leg, external in today's 3-1 defeat by Genoa.

Barcelona forward Neymar, who reportedly had a minor car accident this weekend, really doesn't want to get himself booked today.

A yellow card at Sociedad would see him pick up his fifth yellow card of the season... meaning he would miss next Saturday's El Clasico with Real Madrid.

"I don't think Neymar will be conditioned by the yellow cards and the points at Anoeta are worth the same as the ones against Real Madrid so I've not considered resting him," boss Luis Enrique said.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique: “I expect Real Sociedad to play without fear.

"They are capable of being very attacking with the ball and very defensive without it. They are one of the few teams who can effectively play the ball both long and short.

“What has happened in previous years doesn't affect anything that could happen, there is no influence.”

Real Sociedad boss Eusebio Sacristan: "We’ll be up against a huge team - a team which has great players and if we are to come away with a win, we will need to do everything extremely well.

"We are mentally and physically ready. We have shown that when we do things well, we are capable of beating any side - even though we are talking about Barca, one of the best teams in the world.

“Barca’s players are winners. Whatever challenge they are given, they want to overcome it. Now that they are visiting us after a few poor results, they will want to put that right which means we have to be totally prepared. 

"Past results won’t serve us. We need to continue the hard work we have been doing over the past few months."

As well as their amazing recent record at home against Barcelona, Real Sociedad are having a great season.

The Basque side are sixth, and could move to within a point of Barca with a win. They have won their last four La Liga games - including a victory over Atletico Madrid.

Their coach is former Barcelona midfielder and B team boss Eusebio Sacristan, who replaced Moyes just over a year ago.

You mightn't think Barcelona would even have a bogey team in La Liga. But they do.

For almost a decade, they have been trying to beat Real Sociedad in the Basque Country. They have failed each time.

They have lost five times and drawn twice away to La Real since a 2-0 win in 2007. 

Even David Moyes has beaten Barca in this fixture.
