So easy for Barcelona now. Celtic's energy tanks seem to have emptied. If results stay this way they will have no European football after Christmas, not even Europa League. A grim prospect. Since Dembele failed to make it 1-1 with that close-range header early in the second-half, Celtic fans haven't had much to get excited about. Most of the noise has been directed at Neymar, who was a bit fortunate not to sent off before he was taken off. The home support let him have it as he went. The Brazilian, it has to be said, didn't look all that bothered. 

Celtic are flagging a bit now as Barcelona continue to move the ball around in a low gear.

Loud jeers from the home fans as Neymar takes his sweet time walking off to be replaced by Arda Turan. The Brazilian tries for one last wind-up on Mikael Lustig and just gets a smile in reply - and maybe a Swedish insult or two...

Neymar is walking a fine line as he has another hack at Mikael Lustig. No foul given.

More changes... Patrick Roberts is on for Callum McGregor and Barca replace Gerard Pique with Brazilian defender Marlon.

Tom Rogic rarely lasts a full 90 minutes and the Australian midfielder makes way for Nir Bitton. The visitors also make a change as Lucas Digne takes over from Jordi Alba.

Now Manchester City are down to 10 men, leveling the teams up, as Fernandinho is shown a second yellow card.

Celtic really need a City win in Germany.

The noise level has dipped significantly at Celtic Park now as Barcelona once again settle into a smooth passing rhythm.

Celtic looked rattled now as Luis Suarez, starting from an offside position, stabs a rising angled shot against the post.

Emilio Izaguirre gets on the wrong side of Luis Suarez and grapples the Barcelona striker to the ground. Oh dear...

What a chance for Celtic to level! James Forrest does well to deliver a great cross from the left and it falls perfectly for top scorer Moussa Dembele who can only steer a tame header straight at the keeper from eight yards.

Monchengladbach's Lars Stindl is shown a second yellow card after elbowing City's Nicolas Otamendi.

A shame for Celtic to lose Scott Sinclair at half-time. James Forrest replaces him. Barca had more than 60% possession in that first half and had four decent chances. A repeat of that in the second half and you fancy them to score a second. Celtic have begun the second half with a bit of fire. They look like they still believe.

Best pass of the night for Celtic comes from Barcelona right-back Sergi Roberto, who inexplicably picks out Callum McGregor in acres of space. The midfielder takes a few touches to get a shot away and when he does it's a weak effort that is easily saved.

A sloppy pass from Stuart Armstrong goes straight to Lionel Messi and the wee man is off and running into the Celtic half. Armstrong gets the head down and charges back to make amends.
