Just give us a natural pose, Sutton United FC Manager Paul Doswell. Go on

    • AFC Wimbledon will be re-visiting the ground where they played their first ever game as a club, losing 4-0 to Sutton United on 10 July 2002.
    • These sides have never faced each other in the English football league pyramid with Sutton suffering relegation in 2008 to the Conference South, whilst the Dons won promotion from the Ryman Premier in the same season.
    • Sutton United have reached the third round for the first time since 1994 but it is the first time they are hosting a third-round game at Gander Green Lane since their 2-1 victory against top-flight side Coventry City in 1989.
  4. Breaking team newspublished at 14:02 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2017

    Everton v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

The FA Cup third round will always be special for new Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.

The new £15m signing starts as he makes his Foxes debut just days after arriving from Belgian side Genk. No Jamie Vardy for the visitors either.

Everton forward Enner Valencia is rewarded for scoring his first Toffees goal on Monday with a start alongside Romelu Lukaku.

This is a 3G pitch. In the old days, 20 years ago, I sat on a committee that actually banned artificial pitches. But now they aren't plastic, and the roll of the ball is similar to what you get with grass.

I'm actually surprised that there aren't more non-league clubs with artificial pitches. For the community many people are able to make use of it, and of course that's revenue for the football club.

    Brentford v Eastleigh (15:00 GMT)

Eastleigh are managed by this chap now, He used to manage Brentford of course

    • Brentford have been knocked out of the FA Cup at the third-round stage in both of the last two seasons, despite being drawn at home.
    • Eastleigh have made the third round for the second successive season - they held Bolton to a draw at home last season before losing the replay.
    • The Bees have failed to score in their last two FA Cup matches - they haven't failed to score in three in a row since November 1969.

The third round has kicked up plenty of shocks down the years and while on paper this year's draw is not quite so exciting, we could still see five non-league teams into round four.

  10. Postpublished at 13:47 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2017

    Ipswich v Lincoln (15:00 GMT)

    • Ipswich are looking for their first FA Cup win since beating Blackpool in 2009-10 (D3 L7 since).
    • Lincoln last advanced from the third round of the FA Cup in 1975-76, failing on each of their last four attempts since then.
    • The Tractor Boys have not advanced from the third round of this competition on any of their previous six attempts; the most recent of which coming against fourth-tier Portsmouth last season.
