"We know we are in a real testing period but the players are fit, strong, very focused, their mental fitness is good and we know what we want to achieve.
"And you know if you want to be successful you will play 50-60 games a season. So we are prepared for that. We won't put anyone at risk, to ensure we have the freshness, speed and intensity is very much in our game."

"There's no doubt they've upped it a level. Their [Celtic's] performances in Europe as well have been good.
"But we've got to believe in ourselves. They're not unbeatable. Motherwell gave us heart last week [in their 4-3 defeat by Celtic].
"It's not a template as such but I think it shows if you believe in your ability and you have a go, sometimes you get the rewards.
"You'll need a bit of luck, your goalkeeper to be on top form and everything to click into place. We know it's a tough order but we know we can do it."
