  1. Swans' shots are all from distancepublished at 15:57 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2017

    Swansea 0-1 Arsenal

Swansea have had their moments in this game but, other than that penalty shout, not many of them have come in the Arsenal area - they only managed a total four touches in there in the first 45 minutes.

All five of the Swans' shots have come from outside the box and, tellingly, none of them have come from their main striker Fernando Llorente.

Only one of those five efforts have been on target, too. Kyle Naughton's low drive that almost sneaked past Petr Cech, shown by the green arrow above. The red arrows are off target, the yellow circle is an effort that was blocked.

So, signs of improvement from the Swans - but much more needed.

Should Swansea have had a penalty?

Salman Jaffer: Koscielny is a lucky man, clear penalty, his wink to Ki said it all, very cheeky, unlucky Swansea.

Luke: Well done Mike Jones. When an attacker initiates contact and kicks a defender it's not a pen! Top club would get it though.

Pascal van der Kamp: Top decision by Mike Jones, Ki Sung-Yueng looked for that.

David Thomas: Being a ref in the Premier League really is impossible.

If the nation can't make their mind up, what hope has Mike Jones got?

  3. Pointing at Payetpublished at 15:55 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2017

    West Ham 0-0 Crystal Palace

Outside the London Stadium there's a mural in honour of Dimitri Payet, who is not playing today because he supposedly wants to leave the club.

There's an agency picture of this mural floating around, with a Hammers fan making a hand gesture towards Payet's image.

We can't show you the picture, for obvious reasons. I'm sure you can use your imagination though.

It's a huge call, and I think Mike Jones has got it wrong - Laurent Koscielny dangled a leg out and gave the referee a decision to make. Arsenal have got away with it.

Martin Keown: I think from two different angles it looks like two different things and Mike Jones makes the call from the angle he sees. I think Ki left his leg in there and went over easily.

Marco Silva has his first goal as a Premier League manager and he must be mightily relived.

After I panned Hull for the first 30 minutes, the Tigers have successfully made me look a bit silly by ending that half the better side.

    Penalty to Swansea??

Referee Mike Jones strides towards the box after Ki Sung-yueng goes down inside the area... and books the Swansea man for a dive. No penalty, home fans fuming.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2017

    West Ham 0-0 Crystal Palace

Andy Carroll does a cracking impression of a London bus by arriving five minutes too late for a tackle on Joel Ward.

Nothing nasty about it - but the ball is a dot on the horizon by the time he slides across the Palace player. In the book he goes.

  15. CLOSE!published at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2017

    Burnley 0-0 Southampton

Southampton are growing in confidence, particularly Dusan Tadic.

The Serb rifles in a shot from a tight angle and Ben Mee has to make what could be a goal-saving clearance two yards from the goal-line.

And then Tadic emerges from a penalty area scramble to get a shot on target - it's cleared off the line again.

    Watford 0-0 Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough haven't won away in the Premier League since the opening game of the season... and they don't look like scoring in this game. Cristhian Stuani has half a chance as he gets through on the left side of the box, but his lofted effort sails harmlessly over and lands on the roof of the net.

  17. 'Like a training session'published at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2017

    Swansea 0-1 Arsenal

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Final Score

Poor marking in the box yet again from Swansea. They used to say to us as defenders, "touch tight" - close enough to touch your opponent.

But that was like a training session - let them cross it in and see if they can score and if you give Arsenal that much space then they are going to punish you.

If Arsenal can get another before half-time then they could go for the jugular.

Where would Sunderland be without Jermain Defoe? The striker gives Sunderland a glimmer of hope as pulls one back, latching onto Donald Love's ball before firing home his 12th goal of the season.

Incredible miss. James Tomkins must be two yards out. He just has to score.

Martin Keown: He must've felt sorry for his old club and let them off the hook. I just feel Crystal Palace are growing into this one and have better players on the pitch.

    Burnley 0-0 Southampton

Here's the best chance of the game for a paint-drying sort of game at Turf Moor.

It comes for Southampton as Nathan Redmond feeds Dusan Tadic in the left channel of the area and the shot is driven low, hard and inches past the far post.
