    Angel di Maria

Oh. My. Word. Angel di Maria take a bow. He picks up the ball on the edge of the box, buys himself a yard with a little shimmy and then curls a shot into the top corner. It is a sublime finish. The move before it, though, moved from front to back, from keeper to forward, and was like a hot knife through a butter-like Barca. Is that tie over?

    Kostas Mitroglou

Kostas Mitroglou! Remember him? Fulham fans will, but not for what he's just done here, which is score. Pizzi's corner is headed on by Luisao and falls into the feet of Mitroglou, whose touch takes out the diving keeper and gives him a clear goal to smack the ball into. Deadlock broken.

    PSG 2-0 Barcelona

PSG chanrge forward again as Di Maria's ball over the top releases Thomas Meunier. His ball is behind Cavani, though, and the break falters.

Never mind, though, because Barca are so accommodating the openings keep coming for the home side. The ball is swung in but nodded over.

Freddie Caine: Verratti is brilliant, the heir to Xavi/Pirlo/Scholes with an added bit of bite to his tackling

Kyle: Brilliant performance from PSG. They deserve to be 3 or 4 up. Barcelona's defending so far has been appalling.

garett switzer: Barca have been dismal, and two worst players have been Iniesta & Messi. Has that sentence been said once in the last 8 years?

    Benfica 0-0 Borussia Dortmund

Dortmund will probably feel they should be ahead in Portugal.

It is the first time in 21 European games that the German side have been 0-0 at the break.

    PSG 2-0 Barcelona

That was probably the perfect half for PSG. They came out of the blocks, pressed Barca back, scored the first when they were on top, took some respite and then hit them with a sucker punch second.

Draxler has his critics, but he has been outstanding.

DeathApeDisco: Neymar's the only Barca player at the races, and PSG have kicked him out of it. Barca's new signings are rubbish. Need Rakitic.

Brayo: Hey PSG fans, it's time to sing that song 'Enrique you are getting sacked in the morning'

Arun Gurung: WOW. Verratti running the game. cut supply to front 3 and @FCBarcelona becomes average. they miss magician Rakitic

Not quite the same level of excitement in Portugal as in France. It is not a dull 'un, though. They're has been chances. Just no goals.

    PSG 2-0 Barcelona

Draxler is leading Barca a merry dance. He pulls out one, two, three step-overs before driving in a low cross that Gerard Pique is able to hammer clear.

If Barca aren't careful here they could lose this tie before we even get to the Nou Camp. Obviously this is Barca and they are more than capable of ripping a side to shreds but going into the second leg with three, possibly four goals to make up?

    Julian Draxler

PSG are tearing Barca to bits! Julian Draxler adds a goal to what has been a superb performance so far. Lionel Messi is at fault. He allows Draxler to nick the ball off him before finding Marco Verratti, whose return pass into the box is finished off courtesy of an angled drive. Brilliant.

    Benfica 0-0 Borussia Dortmund

Hang on a sec. That's a foul, right?! Ousmane Dembele is booted up in the air on the edge of the box by Benfica keeper Ederson and left in a heap on the turf. No foul says the ref. Play on.

Oh, Dortmund are so close to taking the lead. Ljubomir Fejsa drops a clanger by trying to see the ball out for a goal-kick but allowing Raphael Guerreiro to poke his boot in and cross low right along the face of goal. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sticks out a boot but can't quite reach.
