    Anderlecht 0-0 Man Utd

Nothing doing for the home side now. They can't string three passes together.

United are on top but have missed two or three decent chances for the opener - and away goal.

Dennis Appiah looks to break the away side's stranglehold with an optimistic dart down the right towards nowhere in particular.

  2. Postpublished at 31 mins

    Anderlecht 0-0 Man Utd

Free-kick Manchester United. Central position, not quite shooting range but Zlatan Ibrahimovic is going to have a go anyway.

He beats the wall... but again it's Kara Mbodji who boots clear. United easing into the dominant role.

    Anderlecht 0-0 Man Utd

Fantastic challenge from Kara Mbodji. Just brilliant.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan had his man on toast before giving Jesse Lingard a share, but the Anderlecht centre-back motored across in superhuman time to slide in with a saving block.

Lingard would have been clean through with just the keeper to beat.

    Anderlecht 0-0 Man Utd

Erm, hold up. Marcos Rojo's ball across the back is let go by the two red shirts around it, and it's only just kept in play. Signs of the momentum dropping?

    Not a chance.

Michal Carrick finds Marcus Rashford with a brilliant ball over the top - pinpoint, Dennis Bergkamp would have lapped it up - but Anderlecht clear.

It falls to Henrikh Mkhitaryan... who drives one - blocked. These are decent chances...

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 24 mins

    Anderlecht 0-0 Man Utd

We've not seen too much from Youri Tielemans - despite the big build-up. But here he is looking to rampage onwards and drawing a cynical trip from the boot of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who goes in the book. He's got no comeback there.

  6. Postpublished at 22 mins

    Anderlecht 0-0 Man Utd

It's the home side who've retreated now. Manchester United enjoying their best spell. But can they find the breakthrough?

Paul Pogba looks for it with a long ball seeking Marcus Rashford - just overhit.

  7. CLOSE!published at 19 mins

    Anderlecht 0-0 Man Utd

OOF! They are raising it now, Manchester Untied, as Marcus Rashford takes a lick of paint off the frame with a dipping shot from the outside of the box. So, so close to the opener - it just swerves wide.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 17 mins

    Anderlecht 0-0 Man Utd

Jesse Lingard, reaching at the back stick after a Zlatan Ibrahimvoic effort is semi-cleared, smashes one onto the post. It came from nothing - that shows what Anderlecht are dealing with. Unlucky!

  9. Postpublished at 14 mins

    Anderlecht 0-0 Man Utd

Jesse Lingard bags himself a rather lucky corner - United's first - but the delivery is poor and Anderlecht can zip up the park into space.

Massimo Bruno eventually flashes a cross-shot into the six-yard box and Issac Kiese Thelin can't quite reach it to stab an effort on target.

United are on the back foot here...

  10. Crowd disturbances at Lyonpublished at 20:17 British Summer Time 13 April 2017

    Lyon v Besiktas (20:05 BST)

BT Sport commentator Jonathan Pearce at Parc OL: "We still have no word of a kick-off time but Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas has gone into the crowd to try and calm the situation. He looks emotional. The electronic board in the stadium stadium says that the kick-off will be 'in a few minutes'."

  11. Postpublished at 12 mins

    Anderlecht 0-0 Man Utd

Marcus Rashford turns and gallops like only he can, but this time there's too much pace and not enough control. The ball runs away and he's penalised for a foul in reaching for it back. Right idea though.

  12. Postpublished at 9 mins

    Anderlecht 0-0 Man Utd

Better this from Manchester United now. Some composure and a string of passes in the middle, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic mis-controls as they look to zoom ahead.

Anderlecht can capitalise - and Frank Acheampong (he's started brilliantly) knocks a dangerous low ball across the box that evades everyone.

    Anderlecht 0-0 Man Utd

Ivan Obradovic's loopy cross is sent skywards after another excellent pacy run from Frank Acheampong down the Manchester United left.

From Sergio Romero's boom forward, Henrikh Mkhitaryan collects and looks to nutmeg his man - no dice.

  14. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Anderlecht 0-0 Man Utd

Cheers from the home side as goalkeper Ruben Martinez slides in to gather a little Paul Pogba knockdown intended for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

United had broken quickly from an Anderlecht corner - but it didn't quite come off. They've started well, the Belgians.

    Lyon v Besiktas (20:05 BST)

This from Uefa's chief of communications:

  16. CHANCE!published at 2 mins

    Anderlecht 0-0 Man Utd

Early chance and a swing and a miss for Massimo Bruno who - in acres of space on the edge of the Manchester United box - takes a swipe at thin air. A big early opening gone begging.

The scene below is of apparent crowd trouble at Lyon.

The club says home fans have been forced to "seek refuge" on the pitch because supporters had been throwing objects and fireworks from above them in the stands.

So Tielemans v Pogba it is then. Wonder if they'd do a swap?..

Incredible that he's already played close to 200 senior matches at the age of 19. He is captain tonight.
