United go from back to front in a matter of seconds.

Paul Pogba finds Henrikh Mkhitaryan with a shoulder high pass and the Armenian leaps to the sky like a karate expert to control the ball and take it past Kara Mbodji in one motion.

But he cannot match his skill with a finish, blazing a left-footed strike into the stand behind Ruben Martinez's goal.

Three minutes to half time, which side will be the happier going into the changing rooms at the interval?

Manchester United have gone right off the boil after a good start and have allowed Anderlecht to build up momentum and confidence. Did complacency set in?

They have been punished as the Belgians now have their away goal. If Anderlecht's fans were noisy before, you should hear them now.

John Dunthorne: United as usual once they are in front go casual. It must be arrogance, have not seen front 5 since goal. They could lose this

Just get the ball to Marcus Rashford. He has the beating of Dennis Appiah. Good save at the near post.

United are in a fight now and it will be interesting to see how they respond.

Marcus Rashford makes a pacey, positive sprint down the left-wing but his cross turns into a shot at the front post which is pushed away by Ruben Martinez.

Quiet around Old Trafford...apart from the boisterous Anderlecht supporters in one pocket of the ground.

It has taken a while but we finally have a goal in one of the other games tonight. Besiktas have taken the lead against Lyon through reported Manchester United and Liverpool target Anderson Talisca.

That makes it 2-2 on aggregate.
