Anderlecht's supporters are forming a noisy band in one corner of Old Trafford - with plenty of their chants in English to help the home fans out.

"Shall We Sing A Song For You?" is one. They have also displayed a nice line in Anglo-Saxon.

He hit it from 30 yards. It looked like it was going miles over the bar but it dipped at the last minute. Great strike!

What an effort. Anderlecht almost score the opener.

Leander Dendoncker, who scored the equaliser in the first leg, picks the ball up around 30-35 yards out and strikes a rising, crisp drive towards the top corner.

With United goalkeeper Sergio Romero struggling to get across, but the ball agonisingly dips onto the roof of the net.

The watching Stretford End breathe a sigh of relief.

"I don't want to win the Europa League. It would be a big disappointment for me. I don't want my players to feel the Europa League is our competition."

Who said this? You've guessed it - Jose Mourinho in July 2013 not long after returning as Chelsea after interim manager Rafa Benitez had brought the trophy to Stamford Bridge in the previous season.

Mourinho is now at Manchester United and has learned to love the Europa League now it has the additional prize of a place in the Champions League.

It may also now represent United's best chance of returning to Europe's elite competition, which makes tonight's quarter-final second leg against Anderlecht so important.
