Monaco are wide open now.

Paulo Dybala threads a pass into the acres in behind the visitors' rearguard, Gonzalo Higuain controls and slips the ball past the goalkeeper and inside the far post.

The flag is up though.

A marginal call and Higuain wags his finger at the linesman.

That might be Monaco's race run.

Juventus come streaming out for the back with Alex Sandro scurrying up from left-back, feeding Paulo Dybala before the ball is worked to the opposite flank.

Dani Alves gets his head up and picks out Mario Mandzukic at the far post.

The Croatia international's header is saved, but he buries the rebound to spark celebrations.

Monaco goalkeeper Danijel Subasic keeps out Mario Mandzukic's low shot from point-blank range after Gonzalo Higuain's reverse ball had opened up the visitors with the efficiency of a penknife.

That could have been the killer blow.

Gonzalo Higuain bundles his way through the Monaco defence through sheer force of will rather than any special skill.

His attempt to beat Danijel Subasic is too clever by half though. A little stub-of-the-toe chip that defender Kamil Glik is able to get around and hoof clear with time to spare.

I think it was going wide anyway as well.

Monaco have a rare bit of space to work in as they counter on Juventus.

But Djibril Sidibe fails to join the dots with options in front of him.

The Ligue 1 side will need to make the most of every bit of room they get against this smothering Juve defence.

It looks like the Monaco defender flashed his studs in that challenge actually. A little naughty but he gets away with it.

This late-career stint in Italy might well have added something to Dani Alves' game.

In the first leg he showed he can still do the on-bombing attacking business.

He has just shown that he is not above the defensive spadework either, sliding in perfectly to rob Kylian Mbappe before the Monaco striker can fire up all the cylinders and get away from him.

That was moving.

Joao Moutinho's deflected shot loops into the Juventus area and Kylian Mbappe is the quickest to clock its trajectory. The 18-year-old stabs a half-volley across Gianluigi Buffon and off the inside of the post.

Hearts in mouths among the home fans. But it wouldn't have counted.
