Have we been too harsh on Wes Brown?
People are forgetting that wes brown provided the cross for Ronaldo's goal in the 2008 final

Not only did Wes Brown win it twice but he set up Ronaldo's header in Moscow!

It's Just the one change for Real Madrid from their last game - a 2-0 win at Malaga on the final day of the La Liga season on 21 May.
Spanish defender Dani Carvajal comes in for Brazilian Danilo.
Gareth Bale, in his home city, is on the bench with Isco getting the nod from boss Zinedine Zidane.

The future for Gareth Bale, if he stays at Real Madrid, has to be on the left-hand side. He has been playing on the right ever since he arrived in Spain. He's a foreigner at the most political club in the world, and that is not easy. Putting Bale on the left is Zidane's next job for next season - after winning the Champions League.
Zidane is an out-and-out Gareth Bale admirer. But if Kylian Mbappe arrives from Monaco, then watch out. Gareth will be looking at his options.

'Can we get Ian Rush on a speedboat?'
What a planning meeting that must have been!

Another huge roar goes up from the Juve fans - no, Gigi Buffon hasn't taken his shirt off... the European Cup has just been carried past them.
It is 73.5cm tall and weighs 7.5kg, bears the legend 'COUPE DES CLUBS CHAMPIONS EUROPÉENS' (which does not need much in the way of translation), and I'd argue it is the most beautiful football trophy there is, as well as one of the most desirable to win. Everyone loves those handles, surely?
Ian Rush delivered it to Cardiff, via a speedboat, earlier this week (don't ask) but will it be Buffon or Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos who gets his hands on it later?

Isco is my player of the season in Spain. For the simple reason that you would buy a ticket to watch him play every single week, without fail.

Juventus name the same team which started against Monaco in the semi-final second leg. Full strength.
Gigi Buffon is in goal, former Real forward Gonzalo Higuain is up front.

Still a full hour to go until kick-off and it already sounds brilliant inside the ground.
I had the fortune to go to the final in 2010 and on that night the Internazionale fans were in place a few hours before kick-off. Loud and proud.

It would be a huge mistake to sell Gareth Bale. He has sacrificed a lot of his game for Cristiano Ronaldo. He plays with the handbrake on at times, he looks terrified that if he doesn't look for Ronaldo he will be criticised.
He is good enough and young enough to be a leader of this Real team in the future.

The programme notes by Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin are in Welsh as well as English - and quite rightly so - so this is the perfect time to learn some of the local lingo.
Impress your mates by announcing that you think tonight's game will be 'ddiflas' (boring) or 'gyffrous iawn' (very exciting).
I'm going for the latter myself…

There is nothing more Juventus than to lose a final. Psychologically they want to make a statement.
Six lost finals - it cannot be seven.

Juventus have just started the pre-match walkabout to a thunderous reception from their supporters. Goalkeeper Gigi Buffon walked in wearing a pair of stylish sunglasses. He is cool - he might even be able to pull off wearing them during the game.

Juventus have arrived, and Gigi Buffon has a shirt half open and is wearing full-on shades!
Brilliant stuff. The images are being cheered loudly by the thousands of Juve fans already in place.

Surfin'Bear: Francesco Totti has never won a Champions League. Paul Lambert has. Both great players.
It's true! Totti, who won the World Cup with Italy in 2006, has never won the Champions League or the Europa League with Roma despite featuring in 103 European games.
