Burnley will be happy. They have defended quite well. 

They've been in sync, come out as a line. I am expecting more quality from Arsenal but Burnley have stood firm.

Former Burnley goalkeeper Marlon Beresford: "The tempo is playing into Burnley's hands. It is nice and calm.

"The away side will be pretty happy at the moment."

I may be describing a lot of Arsenal chances, but Burnley are not set up just to defend. Andre Gray has kept Shkodran Mustafi honest on a number of occasions and he isn't far off when a cross is pushed onto his legs by Petr Cech, but the ball bounces just wide.

Just a minute tagged on to the end of the first half.

Brilliant from Alexis Sanchez as he sidesteps George Boyd's tackle and bends a shot towards the far post, just wide. How is this game still goalless?

Alexis Sanchez, with the sight of that banner with his dogs on the stand behind the goal, charges at the Burnley defence before hitting a dipping effort at goal but Tom Heaton has it covered.

Arsenal fans have made a banner featuring Alexis Sanchez and his dogs.

Not sure what else to say about that really.

Craig Andrew Smith: Keane is playing excellent. Arsenal missing Bellerin going forward. Not enough of a goal threat on the right hand side. 

Once again Arsenal come forward as Mesut Ozil bends his run to beat the offside trap and chase a Shkodran Mustafi ball over the top. Ben Mee manges to stretch out a boot and does enough to make it awkward for Ozil and give the Burnley defence time to regroup and clear.

Arsenal attack again as Alex Iwobi's free-kick loops off of Laurent Koscielny's head and onto the roof of the net. A corner is given, much to Sean Dyche's frustration, but it comes to nothing.

Ben Mee slides in on Olivier Giroud, catching the striker's ankle. It's a moment of concern for Arsenal fans given that it was an ankle injury that cut short his game against Swansea, but Giroud is quickly back on his feet.

Ben Mee hacks behind Mesut Ozil's shot as Arsenal desperately try to force a breakthrough. 

From the corner, Aaron Ramsey produces a rabona cross and Olivier Giroud shapes for spectacular, but he is denied another moment of glory by Michael Keane's thumping clearance.

Ozil looks a class act when he gets on the ball. He takes care of the ball and makes it easy for his teammates.

Tom Heaton has not had a lot to do but Arsenal are having the lion's share of possession.

There's quite a large gap between Laurent Koscielny (6) and Shkodran Mustafi (20), which Burnley will be looking to exploit. They've got Andre Gray (7) and Ashley Barnes (10) playing high up and, given the space between themselves and the rest of the team, Burnley look to be trying to catch Arsenal on the break.

Arsenal are being given plenty of space on the wings as Burnley pack the box, forcing the hosts to put in crosses but it's a tactic that almost backfires as George Boyd's weak clearance falls for Mesut Ozil on the edge of the area, but the German swipes wide.

Wonderful vision by Mesut Ozil as he bamboozles the Burnley defence with a clipped pass to Aaron Ramsey, but Michael Keane recovers quickly enough to clear from the midfielders feet. 

Then Andre Gray breaks at pace for Burnley, it's one against two but Shkodran Mustafi keeps his cool to track the striker and make the block at the right time. 

It 0-0, but a very entertaining 0-0 so far.

Aaron Ramsey is forced wide by Michael Keane and Arsenal have to restart their attack before Alexis Sanchez's drive is deflected behind by Dean Marney. 

Now Petr Cech is brought into action as he pushes behind Ashley Barnes' well-hit effort. 

The way this is going, it's not going to be long before we see a goal.

Lively start to this game with chances now at both ends. Ashley Barnes just fails to meet Matt Lowton's low cross at the near post before Alex Iwobi steers a shot just wide of the far post after Tom Heaton turned behind Mesut Ozil's drive.
