    Everton 3-0 Bournemouth

Another chance for Everton. A long ball forward comes to the advanced Seamus Coleman, who has time to control before hitting a shot from the edge of the area. It's straight at Artur Boruc though.

William Egan: I genuinely think Bournemouth will be relegated. Been shipping far too many goals recently.

Mark Campion: Since Bournemouth beat Swansea away it's all gone a bit Pete Tong! They'll be dragged into the relegation battle at this rate!

    Everton 3-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth have now conceded exactly three goals in nine of their last 13 games, and 31 overall.

Everton have already filled their boots but you just cannot see them stopping at three today. The final score could be anything.

Bournemouth have got great beliefs, they really have, but they have to build from the back.

Get the ball clear, kick it, head it, hack it, it doesn't matter - get the ball clear then let the forward's play in the opposition half.

    Everton have been wonderful though.

  5. CLOSE!published at 30 mins

    Everton 3-0 Bournemouth

Goodness me, the hosts are almost in for a fourth. A long ball forward is chased down by Romelu Lukaku, who senses a half-hour hat-trick is there for the taking only for Artur Boruc to smother the opportunity.

    Romelu Lukaku

Wow. This really is getting ugly now.

Everton don't need help scoring goals but they're getting it anyway.

Simon Francis plays a suicidal pass back to his goalkeeper but fails to look and the ball comes to Lukaku, who needs no second invitation to loft the ball into the net.

    Where does all this end?

    Everton 2-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth are in real bother here.

They have now conceded 30 goals in 12 and a half games. How bad is this going to get?

Lukaku has just literally walked past two Bournemouth defenders to set that goal up, they haven't got a clue what he's going to do. It's fantastic play by the striker.

  9. goal

    James McCarthy

Not the prettiest goal he'll ever score but James McCarthy will take it.

It's great work down the right by Romelu Lukaku, who stands up Tyrone Mings before gliding past both him and a second Bournemouth defender and delivering a low cross for McCarthy to poke towards goal.

Simon Francis blocked the first effort but the ball bounced back on to McCarthy and trickled over the line with Artur Boruc - already committed to the first effort - on the floor and helpless to react.

Jack Wilshere needs to back himself there. He was running along the edge of the Everton box but passed up the opportunity to shoot when it was presented. Surely worth a punt from there?

Bournemouth are just starting to show a little bit more here. No chances to report but they are pushing on into Everton's half and trying to make things happen.

So, not 28 seconds but 30. Still pretty brisk, mind.

  13. CLOSE!published at 11 mins

We said Ademola Lookman might have some joy today and he's just given us a lovely little demo of his abilities.

He receives the ball on the edge of the box, drags it back and away from the attentions of Harry Arter before firing just wide of the target.

    Goodison Park loved that.

Well, after that early excitement the game has settled down a bit.

Bournemouth are trying to regain composure, Everton are stroking it around with confidence.

It's a great finish from Lukaku.

But, Bournemouth are overplaying. We said before the match that Bournemouth need to find a different way of playing, and they've paid the price here.

    Romelu Lukaku

Well, that was quick. Just 28 seconds on the clock before the hosts take the lead.

Bournemouth are shipping goals for fun these days but the speed of this will shock them.

Morgan Scniederlin intercepts the ball in midfield and it comes to Romelu Lukaku who exchanges passes with James McCarthy, cuts inside his marker on the edge of the area and curls a wonderful left-footed shot beyond Artur Boruc.

A lovely, lovely finish and that's goal number 14 of the campaign for the Belgian striker.
