United have been lacklustre. They haven't started well and Ranieri will be happy with the intensity that Leicester have started at.

Both sides' full-backs are not really getting forward. We are used to full-backs rampaging forward and that hasn't been the case here. 

This game seriously needs livening up. Lots of neat passing from both sides but no end product. The King Power is quiet.

Good United move on the edge of the Leicester area. Pogba to Ibrahimovic back to Pogba to Rashford who shoots. A strong hand by Kasper Schmeichel keeps it out.

It's almost eight hours since Leicester last scored a Premier League goal. They need to find some creativity from somewhere if they are going to unlock this United defence.

Leicester were temporarily down to 10 men while Danny Simpson received treatment following a collision with Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Shots on target are like gold dust...just the one in the opening half an hour.

Mata is lucky to get away with that. He is not an aggressive player but it is a poor challenge. On another day he may have seen red.

Musa hesitated. He just stalled which allowed Bailly to get the block in. United have tweaked the system. Rashford has gone out to the left-hand side with Henrikh Mkhitaryan coming in to play in the No 10 position.

Chance for United but Marcus Rashford fires over the bar on the half-volley after fine build-up from Juan Mata and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Signs in the last few moments this game is beginning to come to life.

Terrible by Ander Herrera who gifts Jamie Vardy possession inside United's half and the Leicester man is able to gallop free and release Ahmed Musa inside the area. Musa is just about to pull the trigger when Eric Bailly makes a fine challenge which results in a corner.

Much better by Leicester. They have a free-kick out wide which is flicked on by Jamie Vardy and Wes Morgan, at the back post, sees his header cannon off Paul Pogba for a corner. That's lifted the crowd.

The one thing in Leicester's favour is that they do have players at the club who were in that relegation fight two years ago.

Robert Huth is one of the more mature players in that side who has recognised the situation they are in. He knows they need to put a rocket up their backside and get themselves out of trouble.

Quick feet by Riyad Mahrez. Past one challenge. Then another. His pass to Ahmed Musa is just cut out at the crucial moment. How Leicester need Mahrez to fire again.
