This game has yet to catch fire. It's all a bit scrappy and untidy. Jamie Vardy and Eric Bailly get in a tangle chasing a long ball pumped into the United half. No love lost between those two.

Leicester are in a real predicament. They had such a high last season and achieved things they could never have dreamed about. They have been hugely rewarded for that. It can take an edge off your game. That relates to the hunger and desire they have not been showing as much this season.

United are edging possession in these opening exchanges but their only chance of note is an attempt from 20 yards by Marcos Rojo which was easily gathered by Kasper Schmeichel.

Eventful start. A delicious cross by Riyad Mahrez from the edge of the area almost finds Robert Huth but it is just about scrambled clear.

United counter through Juan Mata who is dragged to the ground by Danny Drinkwater. Anthony Taylor reaches for his pocket and produces a yellow card.

I think United will come here and with the results yesterday - with Arsenal and Liverpool dropping points - think that it is a fantastic opportunity to close the gap and push for fourth.

Marcos Rojo is careless in possession and gives the ball away. That's given the home fans a lift. Leicester have started confidently.

Leicester v Man Utd (16:00 GMT)

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is wary of the threat posed by Leicester despite their lowly position in the table.

"Leicester want to disappear as soon as possible from relegation zone," Mournho adds. "I don't look at where they are in the table. I look to their qualities."

On United's failure to win their last three Premier League games, Mourinho adds: "We don’t want to be the team that plays well and doesn’t win matches. We want to score goals."

Now is the time for the big characters in Leicester's dressing room to stand up and get the point across to the players and make them realise exactly what the situation is.

I'm sure they do by now but it should have happened earlier.

The biggest thing for me is recapturing the hunger that was so evident last season. It's been missing this season. It's more a mental than a physical thing. They know what they are capable of but aren't producing it enough.

How times change. In the corresponding fixture with United last season Jamie Vardy scored and in doing so set a new Premier League record of finding the net in 11 consecutive games.

The England striker goes into this one with more red cards than goals in his last six appearances.

Where would Manchester United be with this fella back in their side? They've won the Premier League twice since Cristiano Ronaldo departed for sunnier climes in 2009 - having won it three times in six seasons he was at Old Trafford.

Happy birthday, Cristiano. He's 32 today.

Former Leicester City captain Matt Elliott on whether Claudio Ranieri's job is under threat: "Not just yet. But the fears and the pressure is mounting. No one is totally out of the woods are they? He has got a lot of work to do. It's a different job from last season."

Manchester United will move one point behind fifth-placed Liverpool with victory at the King Power - and to within five points of second place.

Easier said than done. Jose Mourinho's side have not won their last three top-flight games.

Champions Leicester have lost their last three league games and have taken just one point from the last four. At least Swansea City's defeat at Manchester City means the Foxes stay 16th in the table - albeit one point above the relegation zone. A win over United will lift them above Middlesbrough into 15th.

Thanks Gary. What a great game to start Sunday's double bill of Premier League action. Will there be a stoppage-time winner at the King Power Stadium? Both Leicester and Manchester United could certainly do with one.
