"The way Watford have gelled as a side, with so many new players coming and going all the time, is pretty inspiring."

    Man Utd 0-0 Watford

Walter Mazzarri has donned a neat little scarf for the chilly trip to the north west. His Watford side are inexplicably in white. I'm fairly certain yellow doesn't clash with red...

Anyway, it's the home side who start brightly. Antonio Valencia's deflected cross loops up for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and you'd put money on him smacking home a volley. Instead he lazily swipes wide. Should have done better.

Mr Versatile Michail Antonio is playing up front on his own for West Ham today, having started the season at right-back. A modern day Paul Warhurst or Mike Marsh.

Hear that? That's the sound of five whistles! Away we go.

    Mike Dean's was the best.

United's players are wearing black armbands to mark the 59th anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster when 23 people were killed. Among the dead were eight United players. This is the closest home fixture to 6 February - the date of the disaster. Fans gathered outside Old Trafford before the game for a memorial ceremony.

  6. 'I focus on what is important, winning football games'published at 14:56 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

    Arsenal 2-0 Hull

    Arsenal

Arsene Wenger speaking to Match of the Day: "We were resilient, focused and organised, but a bit with the handbrake on as we were under pressure to win the game. In the end perhaps we were fortunate to get away with a positive result.

"We created really clear-cut chances, quite a few in the first half, but just couldn't finish the game off.

"Hull were impressive today, physically, tactically, and did really well."

Former Spurs striker on Final Score

Last weekend was a game-changer for Sunderland. To blitz Crystal Palace as they did, that trip home on the bus must have been great.

Perhaps they feel the clouds parting. If they can follow it up with at least a point today, that will keep the momentum.

Here we go! Teams are out the tunnels. It's a toss up between Stoke and Boro for coldest location I reckon. Though Sunderland is giving it a go.

Stoke v Crystal Palace (15:00 GMT)

    Garth Crooks

Palace fans are quite rightly disillusioned and concerned. But the Eagles are capable of getting a result today, and a win would really catapult them up the table.

After Palace's horrorshow last weekend they have laid on free coach travel for their fans today. A coach trip up the M6 to Stoke?

You know how to spoil us...

Watford must be inspired by their recent performance against Arsenal. They defended very well against the Gunners, and will have to do so again this afternoon.

  13. In League Two...published at 14:49 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

    EFL preview

The fight to stay in the Football League is starting to get interesting.

Leyton Orient are currently in the relegation zone, one point from safety, but they have a tricky trip to Yeovil. Notts County, just above Orient, have a game that looks easier on paper as they host Cheltenham.

At the top, league leaders Doncaster are not in action but second take on fourth as Plymouth host Exeter.

Remember when Tim Sherwood was appointed director of football at Swindon back in November? That was... unexpected.

The former Tottenham boss was put in charge of transfers and team selection but he's rarely been seen at the club since and the Robins have slipped down the table. They are one place and one point above the relegation zone and will drop into it if they are beaten Bury today.

Elsewhere, league leaders Sheffield United have seen their promotion charge falter lately, winning just one of their last four games and it does not get any easier with an away trip to play-off chasing Peterborough.

Other ties to watch out for are Bolton versus Walsall at the top of the table and Oldham against Coventry at the other end.

  15. Saints 'angry' at poor runpublished at 14:46 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

    Sunderland v Southampton (15:00 GMT)

Southampton may have reached the EFL Cup final but in the Premier League a win over Leicester has been the sole bright moment in recent weeks.

Claude Puel's side have lost their other six league matches since Christmas Day and the Frenchman says his squad are "angry" with the results.

"We have to correct this and give a good answer," he said. "We cannot accept this position and the last results. It's not us."

It is a long journey up to Sunderland from the south coast - the Saints' longest trip of the season in fact. That coach full of angry footballers can't have been much fun.

  17. 'Some players take time to settle'published at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

Manchester United v Watford (15:00 GMT)

    Danny Mills
Ex-Man City defender on Football Focus

Manchester United bought Henrikh Mkhitaryan because he's known quality, a phenomenal, outstanding player. Some players take time to settle when they move countries and join a new club. The challenge was for Mkhitaryan to handle the mental pressure.

What we're starting to see now is Jose Mourinho's United displaying those Chelsea and Inter Milan traits, so solid at the back.

  19. Lukaku chasing recordspublished at 14:37 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

    Middlesbrough v Everton (15:00 GMT)

Romelu Lukaku was unstoppable last weekend, scoring four against Bournemouth to move to 59 Premier League goals in an Everton shirt.

That puts him just one behind Everton's record in the division - with Big Duncan Ferguson on 60.

Alexis Sanchez's double this afternoon has propelled him to the top of the scoring charts, but red-hot Romelu Lukaku could be back in business by tea-time.
