They are at home to Burton Albion will current leaders Newcastle have a tricky trip to Wolves in the evening.

Elsewhere, third-place Reading entertain Barnsley while Norwich, currently seventh, can close in on the play-off places if they beat Nottingham Forest. The Canaries are currently five points behind Sheffield Wednesday, who are sixth.

Stoke v Crystal Palace (15:00 GMT)

    John Motson
    Match of the Day commentator

Only goal difference is keeping Crystal Palace off the foot of the table. Their league position can't get much worse but you have to wonder when, or if, it will improve.

Under Alan Pardew and now Sam Allardyce, Palace have only won seven of their last 45 league fixtures - losing 27.

One of those wins was a 4-1 thumping of Stoke in September but the current bad run started after another victory against the Potters, at the bet365 Stadium in December 2015.

Can they emulate that win? Well, mid-table Stoke have only won twice in 10 games but a point might be viewed as a step in the right direction for Palace.

    Danny Mills
Ex-Man City defender on Football Focus

It was looking a little precarious for Watford up until two or three weeks ago, but a couple of decent recent results mean they're almost safe.

But it remains a weird dynamic at that football club, with the manager likely to go at the end of the season.

West Ham v West Brom (15:00 GMT)

    Simon Brotherton
    Match of the Day commentator

This is a match between two sides who are going well in the Premier League - but who may find it hard to improve much on their current positions.

West Ham have won six of the last nine league matches but they were thrashed 4-0 by Manchester City in their last home game, while West Brom were stung by the same scoreline at Tottenham last month on their most recent visit to London.

Albion have generally been solid though and have only lost once to a team currently outside the top seven all season, in September's 1-0 defeat at Bournemouth.

West Ham were in the midst of their early-season struggles when they lost heavily at The Hawthorns in the reverse fixture. This game should be much tighter.

  17. 'Boro on uneasy street'published at 13:56 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

    Middlesbrough v Everton (15:00 GMT)

    Alistair Mann
    MOTD commentator

After weeks of keeping themselves above the bottom three, defeat this weekend could see Middlesbrough fall into it for the first time this season.

Their current seven-game winless run, coupled with the recent upturn in form of Hull, Sunderland and Swansea, has finally diverted Boro onto uneasy street.

Defensively they remain a tough side to break down, but as the league's lowest scorers it's their offensive deficiencies which have sucked them into trouble.

Contrast that with Everton, who arrive on the back of four wins in their last five games and with Romelu Lukaku having scored more league goals last Saturday against Bournemouth than Middlesbrough's entire squad have netted since Christmas!

    Sunderland v Southampton (15:00 GMT)

    Martin Fisher
    Match of the Day commentator

Last week's extraordinary and hugely unexpected 4-0 victory away to Crystal Palace breathed much-needed life into Sunderland's survival battle.

Now David Moyes' side could be catching Southampton at just the right time to inject further momentum.

Saints have lost six of their last seven Premier League games and it appears their focus is on picking up silverware in a fortnight at Wembley rather than picking up points.

Now enduring their fifth successive relegation scrap, Sunderland supporters recognise a golden opportunity when they see it.

They're also well accustomed to seeing their stars in stripes fluff their lines, so know better than to expect a comfortable afternoon at the Stadium of Light.

  20. 'Mourinho's United a different team now'published at 13:47 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

Manchester United v Watford (15:00 GMT)

    Steve Bower
    Match of the Day commentator

I was at Vicarage Road back in September to see Watford's first-ever Premier League points against Manchester United, but Jose Mourinho's team have a much more solid and settled look about them now.

United are currently on their longest unbeaten league run since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, but they know it is all about winning in the chase for a top-four finish.

The Old Trafford draws against Stoke, Burnley, West Ham and Hull are still frustrating memories. Had those been victories, United would have been second, six points off Chelsea.

Those results will be a source of belief for Watford, as will their recent victory at the Emirates; they've enjoyed upsetting the odds at times this season, although will have to be at their very best to do so again.
