If I was a Plymouth fan I think going out to a Lucas header would be hard to take. Liverpool do go close to a second though as Daniel Sturridge plays a one two with Ovie Ejaria and has a shot beaten away.

A commendable 13,517 have turned out at the 32,500-capacity St Mary's to watch this dross. Tickets only cost £12 for adults and a fiver for Under-16s, mind. Less than a family night out at your local spicy Portuguese chicken joint. I'd still be demanding a refund.

Southampton send on Nathan Redmond in search of a goal, as Norwich have their best chance of the game. Josh Murphy does well on the left and puts over a lovely cross but Kyle Lafferty can't reach it. 

Philippe Coutinho has indeed gone off, and Harry Wilson is on to make his debut. Another youngster, he's a 19-year-old winger. 

And he nearly scores straight away! He charges down a clearance from Luke McCormick and the ball ricochets over the top.

Philippe Coutinho has had a decent game, they don't want to risk any more injuries as he is only just back from one.

Southampton are trying to build up a head of steam now, Shane Long drags a shot wide and then gets on the end of a bouncing ball inside the area but can't hook an effort on target. The quality is massively lacking though.

Plymouth have to make the most of their opportunities as they will not get too many.

I'm not too sure how much contact Garita makes with Karius. Karius has to be stronger in that position, he has to catch it or punch it and get it out of danger.

Liverpool manage to find Daniel Sturridge in space but he shanks a volley wide on the stretch. He is a long way from his best. Will he still be at Anfield next season? 

We could go to penalties tonight don't forget. And it looks that way on the south coast. 

Norwich full-back Ivo Pinto comes to the rescue to clear from inside his own six-yard box after good work from Josh Sims. 

Liverpool teenager Ben Woodburn beats two men on the edge of the area and stands up a cross but there's nobody there to finish at the far post.

Derek Adams will be wanting his players to get on the front foot and try and put more pressure on the Liverpool goalkeeper.

Liverpool won't want any chance of a heroic finish from Plymouth and will want to put the game to bed as soon as possible.
