    Sevilla 2-1 Real Madrid

Well, a dramatic evening of European football. Real Madrid's lead at the top of La Liga is cut to one point. Juventus's advantage at the top of Serie A is the same. If we've learned one thing tonight, it's that the title races in Spain and Italy are far from over.

One bit of admin to tidy up: There was a degree of confusion earlier over who scored Fiorentina's second goal. It was initially credited to Federico Chiesa, who stretched to touch in a cross from the left, but it has now officially been given to Milan Badelj, who played the ball in.

Right, I'm off for a lie down. Real Madrid's 40-match unbeaten run is over. Thanks for your company this evening. Goodnight.

    Fiorentina 2-1 Juventus

Juve striker Paulo Dybala goes in on Sebastian Cristoforo with a reckless two-footed challenge, and is a touch lucky to escape with a booking. One minute of added time to play.

    Fiorentina 2-1 Juventus

And Fiorentina should have sealed victory! Juventus, pushing men forward, are caught on the counter as Nikola Kalinic plays Josip Ilicic clear. All he has to do is slot it past the goalkeeper - but he takes too long, tries to go round Gianluigi Buffon and runs out of pitch.

Inevitably, our Serie A game has got a little lost amid the sensational finish in Seville. They're stil playing at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, and into six minutes of stoppage time.

Wale Ibraheem: Every good thing comes to an end!

Dave Wood: What was that i said earlier about complacency? Run over.

Sergio: To Sevilla fans...with all my love.

    A Barcelona fan, perhaps?

What an incredible finish. Sevilla's players are embracing on the pitch. Jorge Sampaoli raises his arms. La Liga's title race is on. My word.

    Stevan Jovetic

Mayhem. Absolute mayhem. The unbeaten run is surely over. Real lose the ball from their own throw, and the ball is worked to Stevan Jovetic. The substitute, who scored against Real on Thursday, bends a shot at goal. Keylor Navas gets a hand to it - but it's not enough! The stadium erupts.

Again Pablo Sarabia floats the ball in, but there's no repeat. The ball drifts through to Keylor Navas in the Real Madrid goal. Three added minutes.

Last minute. Cristiano Ronaldo handball. Sevilla free-kick, 30 yards out...

Sevilla smell blood. Vitolo tries to wriggle through inside the area. The visitors are panicking. The Sevilla man drives across goal, but Sergio Ramos, whose heart must be pounding right now, makes the key interception. Is the Real unbeaten run going to fall?

    Sergio Ramos og

Oh my goodness. The free-kick is swung in by Pablo Sarabia towards the near post - it's a brilliant delivery. Sergio Ramos, rising to try to stop Wissam Ben Yedder getting to it, powers a header past his own keeper. Jorge Sampaoli goes berserk. The home fans go berserk. The former Sevilla defender has scored for his old club. What next?

Now that is a booking all night. Sevilla's Mariano is just too quick for Marcelo down the right. The Real defender hacks down his opponent and concedes a free-kick, picking up a yellow card...

    Was it a penalty?

Hells Mammut: That was a stonewall penalty as Rico only got some of the ball way after rushing and charging through Carvajal.

Kyle: Absolute joke the official in the Sevilla v Real Madrid clash. All the 50/50 decisions are going to Real Madrid.

    Sevilla 0-1 Real Madrid

Just for a moment, Cristiano Ronaldo looks set to race through the centre of Sevilla's defence for a decisive second goal as he nutmegs Adil Rami in the centre circle. But whizzing across to save the day is Steven N'Zonzi. It's a perfectly timed challenge on the world footballer of the year.

Samir Nasri, perhaps getting frustrated, goes in high on Casemiro and his booked.

    Sevilla 0-1 Real Madrid

Another chance. Pablo Sarabia, a one-time Real Madrid reserve, replaces Vicente Iborra for Sevilla. Jorge Sampaoli's side have been beaten at home only by Barcelona (twice) and Juventus this season. Are Real Madrid about to add their name to that list?

    Sevilla 0-1 Real Madrid

Marcelo breaks down the left as Real chase a second goal, but his cross is tame as he almost runs out of pitch. The ball runs through to Sergio Rico.

At the other end, Wissam Ben Yedder strays just offside as he sets up Stevan Jovetic for a first time shot. Keylor Navas saves comfortably, but it wouldn't have counted anyway.

A change for Real. Toni Kroos comes off, and Mateo Kovacic is on.

The La Liga game is about eight minutes ahead of our Serie A match, by the way, so we're going to get a staggered finish.

    Sevilla 0-1 Real Madrid

A fair bit of controversy amid that Real penalty. When Vitolo kicked the penalty spot, Cristiano Ronaldo responded by throwing the ball at him. Referee Hernandez Hernandez appearently didn't see that.

Meanwhile, Sevilla have brought on Stevan Jovetic, recently signed on loan from Inter Milan, to replace Franco Vazquez.

    Gonzalo Higuain (58 mins)

Game on again in Florence. Gonzalo Higuain, who scored the winner in the reverse fixture at the start of the season, bundles in after Sami Khedira's cross takes a couple of deflections. Two fascinating games now!
