Business as usual for Doncaster Rovers. Chasing a fifth straight win, they're 2-0 up at Yeovil Town thanks to goals from Mathieu Baudry and John Marquis.

Marquis has five in four games and 16 for the campaign.

Charlie Wyke's 18th of the season has Carlisle a goal up against Barnet, while Luton also lead against Cambridge, with Issac Vassell on target for the only goal of the game.

There's been plenty of incident at Northampton, where Coventry are the visitors. There have been red cards and flares on the pitch - but no goals.

Bury's form under Chris Brass continues to impress - they're 2-0 up at the moment against Walsall.

Rotherham v BarnsleyImage source, Rex Features

It took a while to get going, but the afternoon's Championship fixtures have at last delivered a few goals.

Two of them came at the Madejski Stadium, where Jaap Stam's Reading, who are hoping to move up to third place today, were pegged back by Joe Ralls' penalty on the stroke of half-time.

Norwich City have cruised into a 2-0 lead against Birmingham to release some pressure on boss Alex Neil, while rivals Ipswich Town - whose manager Mick McCarthy has also come in for recent criticism - are ahead against Preston.

The South Yorkshire derby between Rotherham and Barnsley has been entertaining but remains goalless.

Norwich 2-0 Birmingham; Preston 0-1 Ipswich; Reading 1-1 Cardiff

The first 45 mintues are over in our other three Championship games.

  9. goal

GOAL: Reading 1-1 Cardiffpublished at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    Joe Ralls (45+1 mins)

Reading keeper Ali Al-Habsi saved a crucial penalty from Fulham's Chris Martin in midweek but he can't repeat the trick.

The Oman international goes the right way, but the ball goes under his body and Joe Ralls grabs Cardiff an equaliser just before the break.

  10. PENALTY TO CARDIFFpublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    Reading 1-0 Cardiff

Moments after going behind, Sean Morrison goes down in the Reading box and the Bluebirds have a penalty!

He had clashed with Liam Moore while challenging for a header, and the Reading defender goes into the book for that challenge.

Norwich manager Alex Neil may well have been under a decent amount of pressure this season, but there'll be none of that talk this afternoon by the looks of things.

Robbie Brady's delivery and Timm Klose's finish has the Canaries 2-0 up against Birmingham.

  12. goal

GOAL: Reading 1-0 Cardiffpublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    John Swift (42 mins)

Readign get their noses in front at the Madejski, and they deserve it.

Danny Willliams drives a shot goalwards but Cardiff keeper Alan MacGregor can't clear the danger despite getting down to his left to save.

Garath McCleary reacts quickest and recycles the ball for John Swift, who tuns home from about eight yards out.

  13. Postpublished at 15:42 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    Norwich 1-0 Birmingham

Birmingham goalie Tomasz Kuszczak gets down low to deny Jonathan Howson a second goal for the hosts.

Minutes before, Che Adams has tested Norwich keeper John Ruddy from 20 yards - but the one-time England man was right behind it.

  14. Vaughan on a hot streakpublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    James VaughanImage source, Rex Features

One man who certainly knows where the goal is at the moment is James Vaughan. I'm not saying I'm a lucky charm but last time I worked a Saturday, he got four. He's put one away already this afternoon for Bury, who lead against Walsall. Seven in three games, and 17 for the season.

Doncaster, meanwhile, are on course to make it five wins in a row in League Two after Mathieu Baudry and John Marquis have given them a two-goal advantage at Yeovil.

Charlie Wyke's been linked with a move away from Carlisle but, while he's still a Cumbrians player, he's putting in the hard yards and has given his employers the lead against Barnet.

  15. Postpublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    Reading 0-0 Cardiff

Reading are on top at the moment, but can't carve out any clear chances.

The Royals have mixed things up in the last few minutes, with wing-back Garath McCleary going up front and striker Yann Kermorgant dropping a bit deeper.

  16. Postpublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    QPR 0-1 Burton

QPR haven't managed to mount much of a response after falling behind at home to Burton.

In fact, Brewers captain Jackson Irvine glanced a free-kick just over the Rangers bar a few moments ago.

The hosts are yet to get going at Loftus Road.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    Rotherham 0-0 Barnsley

And now the Tykes have hit the crossbar, with Adam Armstrong jinking his way through before clipping a terrific attempt onto the woodwork.

    It's all Barnsley.

  18. Play held up at Sixfieldspublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    Northampton 0-0 Coventry

Bit of drama at Sixfields, as sky blue flares have been hurled on to the pitch by Coventry fans continuing their protest against owners Sisu.

It's not too long ago since Coventry were tenants here, after a dispute involving Sisu and the owners of their Ricoh Arena home.

To make matters worse for Coventry, they have already been reduced to 10 men as Jordan Willis was sent off for a late tackle.

  19. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    Rotherham 0-0 Barnsley

It may still be goalless, but it's been a pretty lively opening half an hour in the South Yorkshire derby between Rotherham and Barnsley.

The visitors have missed a couple of decent chances, Marley Watkins flicking the latest one just wide of the post.

  20. Postpublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January 2017

    Norwich 1-0 Birmingham

Norwich are keeping control of the game at Carrow Road since taking the lead.

The Canaries could have doubled their advantage just now but Steven Naismith steered the ball over the bar after good work from Cameron Jerome and Wes Hoolahan.

Jonathan Howson has picked up a yellow card for a trip on Craig Gardner.
