    League One and League Two

FA Cup quarter-finalists Millwall are 0-0 against Chesterfield at the break, but our other three League One games have goals.

Southend took the lead at Peterborough late in the first half with a goal from Jason Demetriou, Gillingham came from behind to lead Wimbledon 2-1, and Conor McAleny's early strike has Oxford 1-0 in front at Charlton.

League Two's bottom club Newport will stay at the foot of the table, even if they hold onto their 1-0 lead against Morecambe. Colchester are 1-0 up against Wycombe in the other game in the fourth tier, while Accrington v Cambridge was postponed.

    Championship

A big upset brewing in the Championship as the half-time whistles blow, as goals from John Egan and Harlee Dean have Brentford 2-0 up at in-form Sheffield Wednesday.

They have lost midfielder Josh McEachran to injury, though.

It's honours even in the relegation battle between QPR and Wigan, where Omar Bogle's penalty cancelled out Matt Smith's opener for the hosts.

It's still goalless at half-time between third-placed Huddersfield and fourth-placed Reading, and at Pride Park, where relegation-threatened Burton are holding 11th-placed Derby.

    • Derby 0-0 Burton
    • Huddersfield 0-0 Reading
    • QPR 1-1 Wigan
    • Sheffield Wednesday 0-2 Brentford

    HT: Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

"Nahki Wells had a clean strike on goal there but hit it wide when he really should have scored. That would have been a deserved lead for Huddersfield at half-time.

"The fact it is 0-0 is partly down to some good last-ditch defending and partly down to some inadequacies up front.

"It wasn't a great penalty by Rajiv van La Parra but a decent save by Ali Al Habsi."

  4. HALF-TIME: Huddersfield 0-0 Readingpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2017

A really entertaining first 45 minutes at Huddersfield, but still no goals.

The hosts have seen a penalty saved by Reading keeper Ali Al Habsi, while Roy Beerens was unlucky to see his shot pushed onto the bar for the Royals.

Huddersfield have just about had the better of the first half, but Reading improved as it went on.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

And now a chance at the other end for Huddersfield.

Nahki Wells turns inside the box, 12 yards out, but can't get his shot on target.

There will be just two minutes of added time.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

    Reading should be in front!

Jordan Obita is the creative force again, whipping in a cross and picking out Lewis Grabban at the far post.

Grabban can't provide the finish though, sending the ball a yard wide of goal.

    Harlee Dean

Brentford have been on top at Hillsborough and they now have a two-goal lead against Sheffield Wednesday.

Defender Harlee Dean powers in a header from a left-wing corner and the Owls, who started today in sixth place, have it all to do.

    Oh dear, Darren Bent.

The in-form Derby striker turns Thomas Ince's cross-shot over the bar from three yards.

    Still goalless at Pride Park.

  11. Huddersfield miss a penaltypublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2017

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

Izzy Brown does brilliantly to win a penalty for Huddersfield, driving through the middle of the pitch, into the box and drawing a trip from Liam Moore.

Rajiv van La Parra strikes it towards the bottom right-hand corner, but it lacks power and Ali Al Habsi makes a good diving stop.

Brown is substituted moments after, though it's not clear whether he's picked up a knock.

  12. Reading hit the barpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2017

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

    Where did that come from?

Reading have been on the back foot all game long, but Roy Beerens almost gives them the opener with a wonderful effort.

Beerens twists inside the box and curls the ball towards the far top corner, but it's pushed onto the bar by Danny Ward.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

"Reading are living dangerously. A great inswinging corner from Aaron Mooy and I am not sure if Nahki Wells mistimed his run or just missed it. But you would expect him to score that.

"Before that it was great feet from Rajiv van La Parra to cut back on his left foot but I don't think it was penalty. The defender didn't move his arm towards the ball.

"The midfield of Huddersfield are dominating, not only in possession but out of possession as well. They look solid and are rotating efficiently."

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

Aaron Mooy whips a corner into the Reading box and Nahki Wells is inches away from getting his head onto it at the near post.

The Royals have still yet to get a shot away in the first 30 minutes.

It seems only a matter of time before Huddersfield open the scoring at the moment.

Rajiv van La Parra is causing Reading all sorts of problems tonight.

The Huddersfield winger wriggles free of a defender and drives a cross in, prompting appeals for a handball as it goes behind off Jordon Mutch.

    The referee is unmoved.

The EFL's bottom club Newport County are a goal up against Morecambe, Aaron Williams the scorer from close range.

A couple of goals to tell you about in League One as well - Wimbledon took the lead at Gillingham through Lyle Taylor, but Bradley Dack quickly equalised for the hosts.

  20. Wasteful Kachungapublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February 2017

    Huddersfield 0-0 Reading

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

"That was a real waste from Elias Kachunga. Only when he turned did he realise how much time he had. The defender was nowhere near him.

"He had lots of time and should have driven the ball across goal, but went for the near post.

"The game has not been flowing though. Reading have not managed to string more than three or four passes together."
