    The Villans had to withstand some pressure from the Rams but they held out despite Leandro Bacuna's late red card.

    A huge relief for Steve Bruce and the Villa Park faithful.

    Aaron Wilbraham and David Cotterill put the visitors into a commanding lead.

    A penalty from James Jones has pulled one back for Crewe at home to Stevenage in League Two. The Alex trail 2-1 now, with both sides playing with 10 men.

    Colchester are now 2-0 up at home to Hartlepool while Newport, bottom of the table, are down to 10 men as Jaanai Gordon picks up his second yellow of the day.
