Will Hearts give debuts to their two latest signings? On-loan Stoke City winger Moha Choulay and fellow 21-year-old striker Dylan Bikey, who has joined from Stirling Albion, are both on the bench.

It would be some story if Frenchman Bikey went from scoring a ninth goal in nine games as an amateur for part-time Stirling Albion to the next week facing the Scottish champions at Celtic Park.

Celtic ahead and looking relatively comfortable at the break. They're definitely missing that cutting edge up front that Dembele or Griffiths can provide. Hearts are working hard, but they haven't really looked like scoring. Not a great spectacle so far

They haven't been much good, Celtic, but they have been too good for Hearts. The goal is completely Malaury Martin's fault as he fails to track McGregor

  5. HALF-TIME Celtic 1-0 Heartspublished at 13:49 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January 2017

Celtic lead thanks to Callum McGregor's strike on the half hour in a game they have dominated without threatening too often.

Hearts failed to muster an attempt on target and will need to improve immensely if they are to prevent Celtic beating that Lisbon Lions record for domestic unbeaten games from the start of the season.

Would any of today's Celtic team displace any of the Lisbon Lions?

Gerry Pentleton: None of them apart from maybe the goalkeeper would even get in the Seville team never mind the Lions team. Lions didn't lose to the likes of Lincoln Red Imps and struggle against the likes of Astana and Beer Sheva

Colm Kilbane: None of them would get into the Lions side, but there isn't a player playing in the UK who would get into the Lions side.

    Celtic 1-0 Hearts

Craig Gordon isn't doing his chances of encouraging an improved Chelsea bid much good as he makes another poor clearance.

The Scotland goalkeeper tries a casual chip over an opponent that falls to Don Cowie, but his former international team-mate can make nothing of the opportunity as his pass fails to find a clutch of Hearts players in the penalty box.

    Celtic 1-0 Hearts

Liam Smith has to head clear as a dangerous Scott Sinclair free-kick is whipped into the Hearts penalty box.

It is a long way back now for Hearts if they are to become the first Scottish team to beat Celtic this season.

They are chasing shadows at the moment - and there are a fair few around because of that winter sunshine.

    Callum McGregor

Callum McGregor shouldn't have been starting today and the midfielder makes the most of his opportunity as he fires Celtic into the lead.

Stand-in striker Scott Sinclair plays the ball through to the midfielder, who threads his shot past goalkeeper Jack Hamilton and in off the inside of the post from 14 yards.

Lots of talk about the Lisbon Lions in the air at Celtic Park. We could do with a few of them on the pitch. Celtic very flat in the opening 20 minutes. Hearts not offering anything either to be honest. A poor game that can only get better, we hope...

John Souttar is a relieved man as James Forrest dispossesses the Hearts defender and the ball ricochets to Scott Sinclair in the clear inside the penalty box, but the assistant referee's flag goes up for offside.

The former Dundee United man doesn't half take some chances at the back.
