    Three points bagged.

We have seen some neat finishes this evening and this is another from Real Madrid substitute Lucas Vasquez.

The Spaniard runs on to Marcelo's pass, after Cristiano Ronaldo's superb dummy, before waiting for Salvatore Sirigu to go down and chipping the ball into the net.

    Lovely stuff.

At the other end, James Rodriguez breaks clear to find Lucas Vasquez, but the ball is slightly behind the Real Madrid man who cannot adjust his body enough in an attempt to get the ball on target.

    Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid

Keylor Navas has kept Real Madrid in this game.

The Costa Rican goalkeeper makes another flying save, this time to his left following Sergio Leon's thumping drive from the edge of the box.

And Real want to replace him because....?

    Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid

The best thing James Rodriguez has done so far: Ping a ball into the feet of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Ballon d'Or holder jinks right and then onto his left peg, but his shot is screwed high and wide of goal.

Ronaldo turns around and curses at the turf.

Cristiano Ronaldo takes Lucas Vasquez's cross down with his chest in the box.

Six yards out, David Garcia comes across and sticks his arm out onto the chest of Ronaldo.

The Portuguese man goes down and looks at the referee. Penalty??

No says the man with the whistle.

That one is in the 'seen them given' category.

  13. CLOSE!published at 75 mins

    Osasuna 1-2 Real Madrid

    Nearly game over.

Cristiano Ronaldo brilliantly plucks a ball out of the air which puts him one-on-one with Salvatore Sirigu.

The Osasuna man is in no-man's land, but sticks a foot out to save Ronaldo's low strike.

From the resulting corner, Sergio Ramos is free at the back post, but the Spain international cannot find the target with his header from around three yards out.

Will those misses come back to haunt Real Madrid?

Barely deserved but Real Madrid regain the lead.

Karim Benzema skips into the box but Nikola Vujadinovic stops him in his tracks.

Trouble though, as the ball falls nicely into the path of Isco as the midfielder darts onto the loose ball before caressing a finish into the far post.

As it stands, Real going back to the top of La Liga.
