Allegri's future at Juve has been the subject of speculation lately. He has been linked with a move to Arsenal, should Arsene Wenger move on at the end of the season, but responded with an emphatic commitment to the Italian champions.

"I hope to take charge of another 300 or 400 games as Juventus coach," he said. "I'm happy here and, as I've always said, if something is not going well then the club will be the first to hear about it."

Incidentally: The last manager to survive as long as Rastelli as Cagliari? Current Juve boss Max Allegri, who had two years there before Massimo Cellino decided enough was enough in 2010.

Mind you, Burnley have had a bit more managerial stability than Cagliari in recent years. Rastelli, a former top-flight striker with Piacenza and Napoli, has lasted a season-and-a-half in the job so far, perhaps helped by the change of ownership that occurred in 2014.

Before that, Cagliari went through 36 managers in 22 years. The club president who fired them all? Leeds fans could tell you a thing or two about him...

Cagliari, like Burnley, won promotion as second-tier champions last May, a year after being relegated. Like Burnley, they are well clear of the bottom three this time around. And like Burnley, that's largely down to their home form. Cagliari have lost just twice at the Stadio Sant'Elia this season - but they travel about as well as a box of crockery delivered by the Chuckle Brothers. Like Burnley, though, Massimo Rastelli's side are at home for this one.

Juventus, like Chelsea, are top of the tree. Other teams rack up the spectacular wins, but in both cases, the leaders know how to grind out the victories to keep them clear of the pack. Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, during his days in charge in Turin, led Juve on the longest unbeaten run in their history. Max Allegri's side do not have that invincibility, but nor do they look like being caught any time soon.
