  1. East Fife fancy an upsetpublished at 14:50 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

East Fife v St Mirren (15:00)

    Brian McLauchlin
BBC Sport Scotland at New Bayview

The last time East Fife faced St Mirren was almost 10 years ago and left Paisley with a 1-0 win. Barry Smith's side on an 11-game unbeaten run and will fancy their chances of an upset against a struggling St Mirren side with just one win in eight.

It was 1938 when The Fifers lifted this famous trophy while this year is the thirtieth anniversary of St Mirren's 1-0 win over Dundee United. The solitary stand is packed out and there is a fantastic atmosphere inside the ground.

    Dunfermline v Hamilton (15:00)

    Jane Lewis

Both sets of players and the match officials are out on the pitch warming up. It's bitterly cold here at East End Park. Hopefully the football on display will warm us up. Could there be a cup upset in the cards?

  3. Clyde keeper Quinn debuts at 18published at 14:44 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

    Ayr United v Clyde (15:00)

It is a big day for 18-year-old goalkeeper Connor Quinn, who immediately makes his debut for Clyde in the Scottish Cup away to Ayr United after signing for the Bully Wee yesterday.

The player released by Livingston has been brought in to fill the gap following the suspension of John Gibson, who was sent off during the last-round win over Stirling Albion.

Scott Ferguson comes into midfield in place of Marc McKenzie, who is cup-tied with Stirling.

Ayr midfielder Robbie Crawford has failed to recover from injury, handing a start to Craig McGuffie.

Dunfermline Athletic v Hamilton Academical (15:00)

Dunfermline and Hamilton might be a fair distance from the top of their respective divisions, but they are both in the midst of a reasonable run of form.

The hosts' defeat by Falkirk last weekend ended a run of 11 games without defeat, while Accies have only lost once in their last five outings despite sitting second bottom of the Premiership.

Hamilton are not only the team from the higher division, but they are unbeaten on their last six visits to East End Park and won on their last visit to East End Park - 3-2 in Division One in April 2013.

Accies also won on their last Scottish Cup visit - 2-0 in February 2013.

East Fife v St Mirren (15:00)

St Mirren, struggling at the foot of the Championship, will have to scratch a 10-year itch if they are to overcome East Fife in the Scottish Cup in Methil.

The Fifers have won 1-0 in their last two meetings - both in the League Cup - in 1997 and 2007, the first at home and the second in Paisley. Can it be another win after another decade-long gap.

Barry Smith's side have had a wee stumble, recording back-to-back draws with Stranraer and Queen's Park to sit fifth in League One, but they remain unbeaten in their last 11 games, including a 1-0 away to leaders Livingston in the last round.

Jack Ross's Buddies have only won once in their last eight outings, but that was a fine 2-0 victory away to Premiership side Dundee in the previous round.

St Mirren have won on both occasions when they have faced East Fife in the Scottish Cup, their successes in 1971 and 1986 both coming after replays.

  6. Sammon starts for Kilmarnockpublished at 14:35 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

    Dundee v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Dundee make one change as they host Kilmarnock in the Premiership, with Kostadin Gadzhalov replacing Julen Etxabeguren in defence.

The visitors also make one change with January signing Conor Sammon starting in place of Stevie Smith. A striker for a defender could suggest a tactical change by manager Lee Clark.

  7. Experienced trio back for Saintspublished at 14:34 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

St Johnstone v Partick Thistle (15:00)

    Scott Davie
    BBC Scotland at McDiarmid Park

Partick Thistle have been struggling for points and goals in the league which was summed up in their recent 1-0 home defeat against St Johnstone but on the positive side Alan Archibald's side have won on their last three visits to McDiarmid Park including their only win against any of the top five sides this season back in October.

It looks like they will go with a back three today with young Niall Keown recalled along with Ade Azeez and Sean Welsh after a 2-0 defeat at Aberdeen.

Three changes for St Johnstone as well following their controversial 5-2 defeat at home to Celtic with captain Steven Anderson, Chris Millar and top scorer Steven MacLean back from the start.

Ross County are looking for their first win in three games since beating Dundee United 6-2 in the previous round, while the Dons have won six of their last seven games.

This is the first meeting of the two sides in a cup competition.

    Ayr United v Clyde (15:00)

Ayr will be strong favourites to progress to the quarter-finals for the first time since 2012 despite a run of 11 games with only one win - when they edged past League One outfit Queen's Park on penalties in the previous round.

There are two divisions between Ian McCall's side and visitors Clyde, whose win over Stirling Albion in the previous round was their only victory in their last nine outings.

However, the Bully Wee, who have to go back to 2005 for their last quarter-final appearance, have won four of their five meetings with Ayr in the Scottish Cup and beat the Honest Men in their last meeting - at Broadwood in the Challenge Cup - in Barry Ferguson's first game in charge of the Cumbernauld side in 2014.

Clyde, though, were hammered 6-1 on their last visit to Somerset Park - in the League Cup in 2012.

  11. Skondras debut for Acciespublished at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

Alex D'Acol is missing from the squad, while fellow forward Dougie Imrie is dropped to the bench along with goalkeeper Gary Woods.

Dunfermline manager Allan Johnston makes one change to the side that lost to Falkirk last weekend, with Lewis Martin coming into defence in place of Jason Talbot, who drops to bench.

"You see the level of his [Moussa Dembele's] game. He's got a natural instinct to score. He's got a top-class temperament.

"The value of the team is improving all the time with performing well."

    Dundee v Kilmarnock (15:00)

Dundee host Kilmarnock in today's one Premiership game and, with the teams around them in cup action, both have the chance to leapfrog Motherwell into sixth place with a victory.

Paul Hartley's Dee have not beaten Kilmarnock in their last five league meetings and the Ayrshire side have lost only once in their last seven visits to Dens Park in the top-flight.

However, Dundee are unbeaten in their last five league game at Dens Park, winning four times, although they slipped up in their last home game - losing to Championship strugglers St Mirren and hence missing out on this weekend's Scottish Cup fifth round.

  19. Dembele does it againpublished at 14:14 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

    FT: Celtic 6-0 Inverness CT

No surprises as Celtic's hat-trick hero Moussa Dembele gets the nod for man-of-the-match.

He's up to 26 goals for the season. What a piece of business that was, paying a paltry development fee to take him from Fulham in the summer.

"He's just going to get better and better as the season goes on," skipper Scott Brown tells BBC One Scotland.

That's two hat-tricks in a row for the in-form striker.

"We know what we are capable of and if we keep playing like we are then, yes we are unstoppable," says Dembele.
