"We know it will be a tough game but this is another competition we want to do well in. We've got four cup finals to get to the final."

Inverness CT boss Richie Foran talking to BBC Sportsound:

"It takes us away from the stresses and the strains of the league, so we've got nothing to lose, no pressure. Off the ball, we'll be fine, we'll work our socks off. We need to make sure we work smartly when we do get the ball.

"Celtic are going for a treble. They'll have pressure on their shoulders."

So, who is in line to take over at Ibrox?

Alex McLeish is the bookmakers' favourite, with Derek McInnes, Frank de Boer, Billy Davies, Tommy Wright also getting a mention.

Or will it be a leftfield appointment?

Who would fans like to see replace Mark Warburton?

  7. Celtic chase the treblepublished at 12:08 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

    Celtic v Inverness CT (12:15)

Of course, Celtic have had their revenge in this competition with three wins of their own, coming in 2007, 2011 and 2012.

With the League Cup in the bag and a huge lead in the league, they need another victory to keep up their treble charge, having last completed a domestic clean sweep under Martin O'Neill in 2001.

  8. Highlanders have history on their sidepublished at 12:04 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

    Celtic v Inverness CT (12:15)

Inverness were a First Division side and just six years old when they came to Glasgow and stunned Celtic 3-1 in the Scottish Cup in 2000, with the The Sun giving us surely the greatest newspaper headline of all time: 'Super Caley Go Ballistic Celtic Are Atrocious'.

They did it again in 2003. Winning 1-0 on their own turf.

A hat-trick of Scottish Cup successes was completed in 2015 with a 3-2 extra-time semi-final win as John Hughes led Caley Thistle to their first major trophy.

  13. Two changes eachpublished at 11:52 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

    Celtic v Inverness CT (12:15)

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers makes two changes to the side which beat St Johnstone 5-2 at McDiarmid Park last Sunday, with James Forrest and hat-trick hero, Moussa Dembele restored to the starting line up. Gary Mackay-Steven drops to the bench and Patrick Roberts misses out.

Goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams returns for the visitors and defender Jamie McCart can't face his parent club under the terms of his loan, so Brad McKay slots back into central defence.

  15. Can anyone stop Celtic?published at 11:46 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February 2017

    Celtic v Inverness CT (12:15)

Celtic are top of the Premiership. Inverness Caley Thistle are bottom.

Brendan Rodgers' side are unbeaten in 29 domestic games this season, winning 28 of those. Richie Foran's team have won three of their 24 top flight matches.

    Foregone conclusion?

Well, not quite. The Highlanders are the only side not to lose against Celtic this season, thanks to a late Alex Fisher equaliser in mid-September.

And they have some notable previous form in this fixture...
