I think if Wenger loses this game it's going to be a real uphill struggle for them to finish in the Champions League positions.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says the Gunners still have their sights set on Champions League qualification, but admits he will not be the one to determine whether the Gunners' season has been a success.

"Success, it's not down to me to judge that," said the Frenchman. "Our job is to do as well as we can until the end of the season. We want to play in the Champions League next season.

"We have a tough job because we have six or seven teams fighting for the places. We are in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, we have an opportunity to do that as well. So overall that's our targets.

"After that, success is basically to take the maximum out of the potential of the team. Where is that? We will see."

Even a win in this one won't be enough to lift Arsenal back into the top four, a worrying sign of what might be their fate come the end of the season.

The FA Cup again offers Arsene Wenger the chance of silverware but it's extending his proud record of Champions League qualification that's more likely to persuade him to sign that contract on his desk.

After losing three of their last four Premier League outings, the Gunners can ill afford any slip-ups against an Albion side I saw well beaten at Everton last weekend.

Having superbly steered West Brom to safety by the end of February, the challenge for Tony Pulis now is to make sure the season doesn't peter out tamely.

Cheers Gary. Big game this at the Hawthorns. Arsenal at real risk of missing out on the top four unless they arrest some poor form. West Brom are aiming for a highest-ever Premier League points haul.

Wenger has only won once away at a team managed by Tony Pulis, in seven attempts. Will the man in the cap undo the Gunners again?

The other teams who are 10 points behind Chelsea pretty much have to win every game to challenge them for the title - even if Conte's team drop a few points.

I can't see how anyone can catch Chelsea.

They have some very tough games in the next few weeks and they have a lot of points to make up.

They have got to play a few of the bottom teams in the next few weeks and I think that's why they have made that decision to sack Karanka.

I think they have left it too late to change managers at this stage to be honest.

If you look at the last couple of seasons, you see the amount of goals Jermain Defoe has scored and how important and vital he has been for Sunderland.

With all the players fit in the national team, there would still be a great cause to say he should be in the England team anyway.

Everton v Hull City (15:00 GMT)

    Leon Osman
Ex-Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live's Friday Football Social

I know Rom (Lukaku) and have played with him so always try and find the positive in it, but his thoughts should be done in-house, with the manager and he should express his concerns that way.

Coming into the press publicly is not a good message for the club, it makes it sound like things aren’t going right and he’s looking for a move away, trying to stir the pot.

I try and be an optimistic Evertonian and I’m hoping he’s just trying to give people a little kick and raise the standard of players over the next few transfer windows.

But it’s impossible to move as quickly as he seems to want to. You can’t improve the squad overnight. Each window you lift the standard of player.

He's an intelligent guy, he's not the sort of guy who makes a mistake in an interview. He knows what he's talking about and he's very meticulous in his football.

He has a real self-belief. He does aspire to be one of the best. But he wouldn't have done that without it being calculated.

Everton v Hull City (15:00 GMT)

Romelu Lukaku suggested after rejecting the contract that Everton don't have the ambition to win big trophies.

Speaking at a Kick It Out, external event a couple of days ago, he said: “Everton as a football club has a great history. But the future has to be written. You get me? Because we always talk about the teams of the 80s and 70s, and if you look it was great. But we as players, we want the fans talking about us instead of us talking about them."
