So Burnley's wait for a first away win of the Premier League season continues.

That's all from me for now, but you can follow all the reaction to Saturday's games, over here.

    Until the next time!

It was frantic in the closing stages. Sunderland and Burnley both had - and missed - huge chances to claim all three points.

Instead it's a draw, which won't help Sunderland at all. Crystal Palace beating Watford means they are now seven points adrift of safety.

And it could get worse if Swansea beat Bournemouth later.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 87 mins

    Sunderland 0-0 Burnley

Jason Denayer with a terrible mistake - his dallying and dithering on the ball gives it straight to Sam Vokes, who can power through on goal - Denayer was last man.

Luckily for Sunderland it's Jordan Pickford to the rescue - a massive right hand claws Vokes' shot away from the line.

  10. CLOSE!published at 84 mins

    Sunderland 0-0 Burnley

Decent chance for Sam Vokes but the Burnley man can only nod Robbie Brady's free-kick wide of the Sunderland net.

Frustration growing for the home side...

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 81 mins

    Sunderland 0-0 Burnley

Fabio Borini goes in the book - the ref indicates for a number of fouls building up. This latest one was a shove in Stephen Ward's back as the Burnley man looked to shepherd the ball out.

  12. CLOSE!published at 80 mins

    Sunderland 0-0 Burnley

Adnan Januzaj smashes one against Ben Mee in the box. It cannons off the Burnley defender and away. Huge last 10 minutes coming up.

    Sunderland 0-0 Burnley

    A big last 15 minutes?

Bryan Oviedo kills any growing momentum with a careless pass. Sloppy, it's out for a Burnley throw when the away side were all pinned back behind the ball.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 74 mins

    Sunderland 0-0 Burnley

Frustrations running away now. Billy Jones had his studs showing and is probably lucky not to get a yellow. Still the ref needs to have an extended word to settle the Sunderland man down.

Two chances. Off comes George Boyd and on comes Robbie Brady, for Burnley.

Sunderland's Darron Gibson comes off for Didier N'Dong in midfield.

  16. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Sunderland 0-0 Burnley

Sunderland last won at home in the league in December - a 1-0 victory over Watford. They've failed to win in five home league matches since then.

Can they find something from these final 20 minutes? They should be ahead already.

  17. CLOSE!published at 67 mins

    Sunderland 0-0 Burnley

Jermain Defoe bursts forward and creates havoc in the Burnley backline. The away side recover, but the clearance pops out to Adnan Januzaj, who darts one just inches wide of the Burnley left-stick and Tom Heaton's sprawling arms.

    So, so close again...

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 64 mins

    Sunderland 0-0 Burnley

In the fallout from all that, a change in the Burnley forward line; Ashley Barnes, who's been in the wars today, comes off, replaced by Sam Vokes.

  19. CLOSE!published at 64 mins

    Sunderland 0-0 Burnley

What a huge chance for Sunderland again. Another massive, massive miss.

Billy Jones comes steaming in at the back stick to reach Seb Larsson's fantastic cross, he's travelling at such speed all he needs to do is make clean contact on the head, steer it home...

But four yards out, somehow, he nods it wide. A glorious chance, wasted.

    Sunderland 0-0 Burnley

Superb noise from the Burnley fans by the way. But their team don't look much like getting the goal that could set up a first away win this season.
