    West Ham 2-3 Leicester

Pedro Obiang looks in trouble here - his foot catches the ground as he attempts to tackle Riyad Mahrez and instantly knows he's done himself some damage.

The Hammers midfielder is being taken off on a stretcher.

    West Ham 2-3 Leicester

...it really wasn't too far out for Lanzini as his free-kick forces Kasper Schmeichel to tip it round his post just to make sure.

From the resulting corner, that man Andy Carroll gets up at the back post to head it across for Andre Ayew to head in, with Schmeichel unable to get a solid enough palm away.

In store for a frantic finale now...

Shinji Okazaki isn't happy but is penalised for a foul about 30 to 35 yards out.

It looks a little too far for Manuel Lanzini...

  5. CLOSE!published at 57 mins

    West Ham 1-3 Leicester

Jamie Vardy is very fast. So fast he easily out-sprints Sam Byram to run onto Riyad Mahrez's delicate through ball and ensures Darren Randolph is left stranded.

Unfortunately the finish doesn't match his pace as his attempted chip falls wide but a slightly better touch and that would've been Leicester's fourth.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 55 mins

    West Ham 1-3 Leicester

An ugly lunge from Danny Drinkwater on Cheikhou Kouyate sees the Leicester midfielder duly shown a yellow card.

It wasn't pretty but just about controlled enough to ensure nothing worse than a booking followed.

  7. Postpublished at 52 mins

    West Ham 1-3 Leicester

It's been a very quiet start to the second half so far, which suits Leicester for the moment.

West Ham have to make all the running if they want a route back into this game.

Robert Snodgrass tries to spark something with a chipped cross towards Andre Ayew but Kasper Schmeichel comes and claims.

    West Ham 1-3 Leicester

Just as I wrote that, Benalouane has just tried to beat Randolph from miles out with a free-kick.

The Hammers keeper saw it coming though and rocked back to catch the centre-back's ambitious effort.

Yohan Benalouane has had very, very little to do on his Premier League debut.

He's just been spoken to by referee Roger East for a slightly clumsy foul, which is the most notable thing he's done so far.

No Wes, no problem at the moment for the Foxes.

    West Ham 1-3 Leicester

Just watching replays of Leicester's second goal - it's a stunning chip in from Marc Albrighton that leads to Robert Huth's header.

The winger cuts across Riyad Mahrez's short pass to fire it in with the outside of his right boot.

He was completely unmarked but it's tremendous skill.

This about sums up West Ham's mood after that first half...

    West Ham 1-3 Leicester

And that's that for the first half.

Boos ring out from the West Ham fans. Cheers from the travelling Leicester fans.

For the neutral though a cracking, captivating game of football so far.

More of the same in the second half please. Or maybe a little less manic would be better.

Leicester try another set-piece trick but this time Lanzini is wise to the danger, cutting out Albrighton's attempted through ball before surging up the other end only to run into the hulking figure of Huth.

Albrighton then cuts in and is given far too much room to shoot but his effort isn't troubling Randolph.

    Breakneck football.

  18. CLOSE!published at 41 mins

    West Ham 1-3 Leicester

Manuel Lanzini almost gets West Ham back into the game once again with a well-struck effort from 25 yards but it falls a couple of yards wide of the post.

There could even be more goals in this game before half-time.

Vardy restores Foxes two-goal leadpublished at 38 mins

    West Ham 1-3 Leicester

Just as West Ham had found their way back into this game, that man Jamie Vardy puts Leicester two goals in front again.

It's a corner from Marc Albrighton that pings around the six-yard box with the hosts unable to clear before Vardy pounces to strike high past Darren Randolph.

That's only a second away league goal of the season for Vardy.
