And here come the teams through the aforementioned cloud of bubbles.

West Ham have a shaky* recent record against Leicester - they've not beaten the Foxes since December 2014, having lost four and drawn one of their last five meetings.

*Pun on Leicester boss' name intended.

West Ham v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

So can Leicester claim their first away victory of the season? The Foxes are currently in a race with Burnley for the most miserable away record this season.

Unlike Burnley, they're also in a race to beat the drop too - a win would do wonders for their survival chances as the champions remain just three points above the relegation zone.

West Ham, meanwhile, are winless in four games and victory here could help prevent a decidedly mixed season just petering out.

We're 10 minutes or so away from kick-off at London Stadium...

West Ham are on a poor run of four games without a win and I think Leicester's revival will continue.

  10. Hammers wary of resurgent Foxespublished at 14:41 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

West Ham v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic:  "Leicester is a different team from four weeks ago. They really played extremely well, especially against Sevilla, when they got a great result for them and for English football in general.

"In all those three games, against Liverpool, against Hull and against Sevilla, they looked lively - and of course those kind of results, three wins on the spin including qualifying for the quarter-final of the Champions League, has given them a massive boost."

Leicester manager Craig Shakespeare says his side are focused on the Premier League, despite their European antics in midweek.

"I haven't banned talk of the Champions League but after the [Sevilla] game the focus, what I wanted, has been on West Ham," said Shakespeare.

"The talk straight after the game was to improve the away record. We want to move away from (the relegation zone) because it is tight down there but we can't look too far ahead."

Thoughts of Atletico Madrid  will somehow have to be discarded as Leicester have four demanding league fixtures before they can once again indulge in a little fantasy football.

"If the Foxes aren't careful, they could find themselves remembered as the first Champions League quarter-finalists (and, who knows, maybe further than that!) to be relegated in the same campaign.

"It's away from home where their season has particularly imploded, winless on their travels in more than a year and with just three points accumulated on the road.

"Hosts West Ham are by no means completely clear of trouble yet either, with results in their inaugural season in the London Stadium of particular concern. It all points to a fixture that's simply brimming with possibilities.

West Ham v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

West Ham make two changes to the side who lost 3-2 to Bournemouth last time out as Sam Byram and Andre Ayew come in for Mark Noble and Sofiane Feghouli respectively.

Feghouli drops to the bench but captain Noble is ruled out with a dead leg. Winston Reid will skipper the Hammers instead.

West Ham XI:  Randolph, Byram, Fonte, Reid, Cresswell, Obiang, Kouyate, Antonio, Lanzini, Ayew, Carroll.

Subs:  Adrian, Masuaku, Collins, Nordtveit, Fernandes, Feghouli, Snodgrass.

The big team news though is Leicester captain Wes Morgan is out with a back injury he picked up in that thrilling midweek Champions League win over Sevilla.

It ends a run of 87 consecutive Premier League matches for the centre-back, who'd also played every minute of this season so far.

Morgan's replacement, Yohan Benalouane, makes his Premier League debut, while Kasper Schmeichel skippers the Foxes.

Leicester XI:  Schmeichel, Simpson, Huth, Benalouane, Fuchs, Mahrez, Ndidi, Drinkwater, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy.

Subs:  Zieler, Chilwell, Musa, King, Amartey, Slimani, Gray.

West Ham v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

Remember a time when the following would've been utterly ridiculous?

After 87 consecutive games, Premier League title-winning Leicester City captain Wes Morgan has been ruled out of a match against West Ham - who play at the Olympic Stadium by the way - thanks to a back injury he picked up in a win over Sevilla that took the Foxes to the Champions League quarter-finals.

At one point, Wes Morgan playing in the Premier League seemed unlikely enough but this is the new reality folks.

Here's the rest of the team news...
