    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

...disappointing move from the resulting free-kick though as Robert Snodgrass clips the ball towards Andy Carroll at the back post but the striker is covered well, with his header ballooning harmlessly out.

    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

Brilliant challenge from Pedro Obiang in midfield to nip the ball off Wilfred Ndidi.

Andre Ayew picks the ball up before Andy Carroll turns provider with a great cross from Michail Antonio - but his header slides wide.

Now another free-kick in a good place for the hosts as Robert Huth is whistled for a foul on Ayew.

The Hammers certainly on top now.

  3. Postpublished at 34 mins

    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

Bright play again from West Ham as the ball is floated out to Aaron Cresswell, whose cross is met by Andre Ayew but the header is well wide.

  4. Postpublished at 31 mins

    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

A few thousand Hammers fans cheer for an equaliser as Andy Carroll slams the ball into the net - but the offside flag had been raised for some time, Antonio straying as he gathered a ball over the top before squaring it to Carroll.

  5. Postpublished at 30 mins

    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

Marc Albrighton cuts back on to his right and clips in another teasing pass towards the edge of the six-yard box but this time Darren Randolph is able to gather ahead of the incoming Shinji Okazaki.

  6. Postpublished at 29 mins

    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

Michail Antonio makes a nuisance of himself on the left of Leicester's box, cutting inside and getting free of Danny Simpson but his shot takes a deflection and is easily gathered by Kasper Schmeichel.

  7. ouch!

    Postpublished at 26 mins

    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

Hammers goalscorer Manuel Lanzini takes a bit of a whack but is all right to continue.

  8. CLOSE!published at 22 mins

    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

You certainly wouldn't include this game on a instructional video entitled 'How to Defend'.

Moments after Darren Randolph nervously clears straight to Wilfred Ndidi, the hosts regain possession and break up the other end before Andre Ayew slices a shot wide of the left-hand post.

Kasper Schmeichel didn't have a chance. That was just a perfect free-kick right into the top corner.

The technique to get it into that little bit of space is difficult to do.

Lanzini scores superb free-kickpublished at 20 mins

    West Ham 1-2 Leicester

It was a decent position but it's a beautiful strike from Manuel Lanzini as he curls his strike up and over the wall in time to hit the top-left corner.

Kasper Schmeichel didn't even more. His first touch of the game is to pick the ball out of the net.

Game on at London Stadium. The home fans roused after a dreadful start.

  12. Postpublished at 19 mins

    West Ham 0-2 Leicester

Nice ball in from Snodgrass with his third touch since coming on but it's cleared by Danny Simpson.

West Ham stay on the front foot though as Michail Antonio is scythed down by Danny Drinkwater.

Free-kick in a decent position for the Hammers...

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 17 mins

    West Ham 0-2 Leicester

So Snodgrass does come on for the injured Reid - a signal of intent from Slaven Bilic perhaps with his side already 2-0 down.

    West Ham 0-2 Leicester

Did you think things could not get any worse for West Ham?

Unfortunately, they can as stand-in skipper Winston Reid pulls up trying to reach a ball ahead of the lurking Jamie Vardy.

The centre-back has clearly pulled a muscle in his right leg and is being helped off the pitch by the physio team.

It looks like Robert Snodgrass is coming on...could mean Cheikhou Kouyate dropping into defence.

  15. Postpublished at 12 mins

    West Ham 0-2 Leicester

West Ham weren't just asleep, they were practically six feet under as the 6'3'' Huth barely needed to jump to head in that second goal.

Foxes remain in control here. West Ham happy to just settle things down for now but struggling to string a run of passes together.

They say that at the start of a game you have to work your way into it but these guys are asleep. Where was the marking?

  17. Postpublished at 9 mins

    West Ham 0-2 Leicester

The way Leicester are stroking the ball around is not only reminiscent of last season's title-winning side but also on a par with the quality of some of their fellow Champions League last-eight teams.

West Ham look utterly abject as the Craig Shakespeare revolution continues apace.

One-two punch for Leicesterpublished at 7 mins

    West Ham 0-2 Leicester

Leicester have a free-kick in a dangerous area as Riyad Mahrez and Marc Albrighton trade short passes, with the latter chipping the ball over the top for Robert Huth to run onto and head past Darren Randolph.

A lovely set-piece move from Leicester but truly woeful defending from West Ham. If Huth hadn't got the final touch then there were three other Foxes behind him ready to finish.

    A cracking start.

Mahrez puts Foxes in frontpublished at 4 mins

    West Ham 0-1 Leicester

He probably doesn't mean it but Riyad Mahrez puts Leicester ahead as his shot/cross from the right evades everyone, including Hammers keeper Darren Randolph, to nestle in the bottom left corner.

Huge start for a side looking for their first away Premier League win of the season.

West Ham in disarray at the back.
