Craig Dawson's opener for the Baggies was cancelled out by Alexis Sanchez in the first half, but substitute Hal Robson-Kanu has restored the home side's lead.

  6. Forest dazzle, Derby falterpublished at 13:55 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    HT: Nottingham Forest 1-0 Derby

    Andrew Aloia
BBC Sport at the City Ground

That was a first half to fill Forest hearts with plenty of joy. Teenager Ben Brereton has dazzled on the right at times, there is plenty of menace in Britt Assombalonga's play, and Chris Cohen and Ben Osborn have both been big influences.

For Derby, the picture is not so rosy. Stray passes, lack of punch and a little bewilderment in there for good measure. Still, they are only one goal down at the interval.

  7. Postpublished at 13:51 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

HT: Nottingham Forest 1-0 Derby County

This is what scoring in a derby means.

Zach Clough's goal has Forest deservedly in the lead. Derby livened up after 20 minutes and it's much more even, but the visitors couldn't cope with Forest's slick start.

    HT: Blackburn 1-1 Preston

Preston will be relieved to hear Stuart Attwell's half-time whistle.

Blackburn were in total control towards the end of the first period, and there's plenty of food for thought for both managers during the break.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:48 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    Advantage Forest at the interval.

  10. Postpublished at 13:47 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Derby County

Tom Ince has another attempt on goal as Forest's Chris Cohen loses possession.

But Ince cannot control his effort and it's way over the bar. Forest have been a bit sloppy in defensive areas at times.

A minute of injury time to play.

    Blackburn 1-1 Preston

Someone looks to have put a defibrillator onto this game, it's come back to life!

Blackburn forward Marvin Emnes has the ball in the net, but is deemed offside after Lucas Joao's failed attempt at a strike.

  13. Bennett levels for Blackburnpublished at 13:45 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    Blackburn 1-1 Preston

Well that 13:43 post somewhat jinxed Preston there, but what a strike by Elliott Bennett!

Lucas Joao feeds Bennett, whose turn and shot at goal from 25 yards is out of the reach of North End keeper Chris Maxwell and nestles into the net.

"You're not singing any more" rings around Ewood Park.

  14. Postpublished at 13:44 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Derby County

Less than four minutes remaining of the first half at the City Ground. Derby have had a couple of decent short spells where they look like getting their act together, but Forest will be far happier if things stay as they are.

    Tony MowbrayImage source, Rex Features

As things stand, Tony Mowbray is on his way to a first defeat since becoming Blackburn Rovers boss.

He had two wins and four draws from his previous six matches, and those around them at the bottom of the table - Forest included - would have been celebrating that earlier Tom Barkhuizen goal, hoping it will stop Rovers' end-of-season momentum.

  17. Postpublished at 13:41 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Derby County

Ben Brereton continues to sparkle in the rain for the home side, showing some neat touches down the right and winning a corner.

Nothing doing but Forest are still on top and posing the greater threat.

Zach Clough scores for ForestImage source, Dan Westwell

Here's the moment that matters at the City Ground so far.

"Clough the Forest goalscorer" is a familiar story for home fans. This is Zach's fourth for Forest already.

But he has some way to go to catch up Nigel!

  19. Postpublished at 13:39 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    Blackburn 0-1 Preston

Lucas Joao comes oh so close to a Blackburn equaliser!

The Portuguese forward connects with a Derrick Williams cross but hits the woodwork with his header. The Ewood Park faithful are making some noise now!

  20. Postpublished at 13:34 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    Blackburn 0-1 Preston

Chances are at a premium at Ewood Park today.

Blackburn forward Lucas Joao, making his first start for the club today, turns and shoots towards goal from about 20 yards, but it is over the bar.
