Arsenal picked their game up and really did coast in the second half. Lincoln have to come out of this with their heads held really high for everything they've acheived.

The referee brings an end. Lincoln started with shades of something like the magic that had carried them this far, from October's fourth qualifying round to bringing 9,000 fans to the Emirates Stadium. 

It turned out to be a mauling, but that's nothing to be ashamed of.

Wave after wave of Arsenal attack. Lucas Perez drives across goal, with the Lincoln defence watching on from a short corner. 

The curtain's coming down now on the Imps' brilliant run.

Sam Pougher: This is just getting too painful to watch now. Arsenal are now toying with Lincoln. Look how easy it was for Ramsey to walk it in.

Adrian Li: This game tells us one thing: if Arsenal played in the National League, we'd win it.

... Alexis Sanchez with it, and a combination of crossbar and Paul Farman flinging himself to the heavens combines to deny the Chilean. 

Arsenal are so massively on top. Lincoln are just hanging on.

Lincoln suddenly have four players in the Arsenal half - risking a consolation at the expense of leaving themselves open? 

Lucas Perez takes a tumble in the box with challenges flying around him, but the Spaniard was making a big deal of it. Strange to do at this stage. 

Sean Raggett then hammers in to Mesut Ozil on the edge of the box, a horrendous challenge. Free-kick edge of the box...

Lincoln keeper Paul Farman has had 33 touches of the ball. Only midfielder Alan Power (38) has had more in an Imps shirt.

For contrast, Shkodran Mustafi has touched the ball 87 times for Arsenal...

Solid save from Petr Cech as Alan Power curls one towards goal and gets a big cheer from the 9,000 Lincoln fans behind the Arsenal keeper's goal.

Another change for Lincoln. They need fresh legs out there. Adam Marriott is on for Terry Hawkridge.

They also need a miracle...

It's what we expected really wasn't it? Right from the off in the second half Arsenal have gone up a gear and are bossing the ball around.  

The quality of Arsenal has shone through in the end and it was very simple for Ramsey to finish off. You don't feel like there's a lot of passion out there. Is this enough for the fans? They'll be happy with the result, but the performance is key.

So unlucky for the Lincoln captain. Watch the third Arsenal goal in all its tragedy below.

Every Lincoln shirt is in their own half now. The 9,000 travelling support down the other end have barely got near the ball. 

Theo Walcott dinks into the box over a scrum of Imps heads, but Sean Raggett just gets a nick on it with an outstretched neck to steer away from Lucas Perez. The Spaniard already had his smash-volley lined up.

Mesut Ozil apologises to Alexis Sanchez, who picked him out with a plumb of a cross. Right on the German's head, Ozil was stooping awkwardly and failed to make anything of it, his effort sailing over the bar. 

Just over 20 minutes for Lincoln to hang on as tight as they can. The Gunners look hungry for more.

And that's the end of Matt Rhead's match too. Lincoln's number nine has run himself into the ground and Joe Ward, on loan from Brighton, comes on to replace him up top.

Another change for Arsenal - their last. Olivier Giroud trots off, a goal to the good, replaced by Lucas Perez.
