    Christian Benteke (10 mins)

    What a turnaround!

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:10 British Summer Time 1 April 2017

    Watford 0-0 Sunderland

Nice save from Watford keeper Heurelho Gomes! Adnan Januzaj whips the ball in from outside the area and it bends towards goal.

Gomes has to stretch pretty far to turn it behind. I think he thought his defender was going to get there first...

  3. goal

Chelsea's lead lasts barely five minutespublished at 15:10 British Summer Time 1 April 2017

    Chelsea 1-1 Crystal Palace

How good has Wilfried Zaha been lately?

The forward is brimming with confidence under Sam Allardyce and it shows as he weaves his way through the defence and then squeezes in a shot in the far post.

    Man United 0-0 West Brom

Over at Old Trafford, West Brom have started with 11 men behind the ball against Man United. Lovely stuff.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:07 British Summer Time 1 April 2017

    Hull 0-0 West Ham

Mike Jones lays down the law early doors as he holds up a yellow card in front of Jose Fonte's face. Jones is not at all happy with the West Ham defender hacking down Abel Hernandez.

    Burnley 0-0 Tottenham

Vincent Janssen, on his first start of 2017 for Tottenham, clatters into Joey Barton with some force but the referee doesn't bring out a card.

Janssen has come in for Son Heung-min, who returned from international duty with South Korea this week.

  8. goal

Blues take early leadpublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 1 April 2017

    Chelsea 1-0 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have had an upturn in form recently, but they are up against the Chelsea juggernaut now and the Blues take an early lead.

It's a simple enough goal as Eden Hazard cuts in from the left and squares for Cesc Fabregas to stab in his sixth of the season.

    Leicester 0-0 Stoke

The air is a hazy blue around the King Power Stadium because there was one heck of a fireworks display before kick off to apparently mark the Leicester chairman's birthday. Apparently everyone gets beer and cake on Tuesday - the actual day of his birthday. Shame I'm in the office.

Anyway, not much to report on the pitch. A typically low key start as the two teams size each other up.

    Watford 0-0 Sunderland

Watford pile forward immediately from kick-off. A deflected cross from the right finds M'Baye Niang but Billy Jones gets his head to it first to see off the danger for Sunderland.

There is that confidence back, that swagger back at Leicester City - more importantly the goals are back from Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez.

    Burnley v Tottenham (15:00 BST)

    Chris Powell
Former England full-back on Final Score

The way Spurs play is almost always focused on getting the ball to Harry Kane and more often than not he delivers but when he is not available to play, what do you do?

Do you bring in a top striker who knows he won't play unless Kane is injured? It's a difficult position they are in.

It's a huge void to fill - at the moment Vincent Janssen isn't quite there but it's a big confidence boost for him to be in the starting line up today.

  17. Chelsea's dukes of Hazard, Kantepublished at 14:55 British Summer Time 1 April 2017

Chelsea v Crystal Palace (15:00 BST)

    KanteImage source, BBC Sport

We asked 15 BBC pundits for their player of the year for 2016-17, and  12 of them picked one of Chelsea pair N'Golo Kante and Eden Hazard.

Kante picked up nine of the votes, but a few went for Hazard because of his flair.

As  former Blues boss Ruud Gullit  said: "Hazard would get my vote, because he has been extremely important for lots of Chelsea's victories.

"Kante has played a big part as well, of course, but if I was manager and had to choose one of them to be in my team, I would take Hazard.

"They are both unbelievably good at the jobs they do but I like the style of Hazard, he is an exciting player."

    Agree with Ruud?

Or do you prefer to go with  Alan Shearer,  who hails Kante's "incredible energy to protect his back three" and the stats that show he has the highest win percentage of any player to play 25+ Premier League games over the past two seasons.

Newport and Crawley are going to have some fun out there today. The state of that pitch! The referee is happy with it, though.

  19. Today's the day for Doncaster?published at 14:53 British Summer Time 1 April 2017

It could be an April Fools Day to remember for  Doncaster Rovers  because they can secure promotion back to League One today.

They beat  Grimsby  5-1 in the early kick off and, if results go their way this afternoon, they will go up. If  Stevenage  lose to  Barnet  and  Luton  draw with  Blackpool,  Doncaster are promoted.

At the other end of the table,  Leyton Orient's  hopes of staying up are looking bleak. They are bottom, seven points from safety but have the chance to close the gap when they host  Wycombe.
