  1. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Stoke 1-0 Liverpool

Off the bar! Dejan Lovren takes a free run at a corner and his header rattles the woodwork. The Liverpool fans are the loudest they have been all day. Surely there's an equaliser there for the Reds?

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:18 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Stoke 1-0 Liverpool

Liverpool are knocking. Philippe Coutinho forces Lee Grant into action, a shot from outside the box bringing a good low save from the Stoke keeper. Why on earth did the Brazilians not start?

    West Brom 0-1 Southampton

West Brom have just not got going at all this afternoon. Can they find some of that mid season spark and get back on track? The goals have rather dried up and main man Gareth McAuley is off now.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    West Ham 1-0 Swansea

Awful, simply awful from Manuel Lanzini. No chance of a touch from Federico Fernandez in the Swansea box, but Lanzini goes down like he's been chokeslammed. Wrestlemania was last weekend. If you want to dive like that, work with Tom Daley. Rightfully booked.

    Manchester City 2-0 Hull

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the Etihad Stadium

After a goal like Sergio Aguero just scored, which was a flowing move from defence to attack before Raheem Sterling slalomed his way through the Hull rearguard to set up the finish, you would think Pep Guardiola would be satisfied.

Anything but as it turns out.

Guardiola was yelling at John Stones for some reason just then.

The City boss did not seem bothered in the slightest the ball was with Stones' central defensive colleague Aleksandar Kolarov.

  7. CLOSE!published at 16:14 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Burnley

Move of the game! Stephen Ward gets away down the Burnley left and cuts the ball back, George Boyd runs over it and leaves it for Robbie Brady behind - and he curls it narrowly wide!

    Stoke 1-0 Liverpool

Despite nearly going two behind, Liverpool have looked much better going forward, with Divock Origi enjoying much more company. Philippe Coutinho is involved before Origi curls wide.

  9. Pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass etc etc etc GOALpublished at 16:14 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Manchester City 2-0 Hull

This is the kind of goal Pep Guardiola dreams about. Twenty passes, keeper involved, a bit of Raheem Sterling magic, Sergio Aguero finishes.

    Beautiful team goal.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:12 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Stoke 1-0 Liverpool

How has this stayed out? Four Stoke players were queuing up in the six-yard box, with none of them wanting to pull the trigger. After you, Claude. It all came from Georginio Wijnaldum's header back into the danger zone. Eventually, Charlie Adam's shot was brilliantly blocked by Simon Mignolet. Should be two.

  13. CLOSE!published at 16:10 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    West Brom 0-1 Southampton

Dusan Tadic chances his arm with a cheeky chip from way out, Ben Foster is momentarily concerned but the shot drifts wide of the far post.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:08 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Manchester City 2-0 Hull

Straight from kick off and there's almost another own goal as a superb low cross is met by a defender before Leroy Sane can get there, and the ball cannons off the shins of keeper Eldin Jakupovic and away!

It's heating up in the Potteries, where Liverpool have improved. The challenges are getting tastier, the noise has been cranked up a notch or two. There's more in this one.

All the work had been done by Raheem Sterling. Aguero is the kind of striker who knows when the credit should go to the person who has assisted him.

Sterling has come on slowly under Guardiola. One player who has struggled lately is De Bruyne.

Aguero taps homepublished at 16:07 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Manchester City 2-0 Hull

Brilliant run from Raheem Sterling, going past two defenders and then jagging the ball back across goal. Sergio Aguero has the presence of mind to take a touch and then lash a shot home from close range, which goes in off the feet of Michael Dawson.

I think the Argentine will keep it mind.

I was surprised Firmino and Coutinho were left out, I'm even more surprised Klopp has left it this long to bring them on. If they've passed the fitness test then they should start.

I'm pretty sure those two will make a huge difference, but I'm surprised he's left it this late.
