Matt in London: I really feel for Jordan Pickford. He's a very good goalkeeper and has kept Sunderland from total embarrassment on quite a few occasions. But he has been regularly let down by the defence in front of him.

Despite trying hard, they make such terrible decisions and are caught napping or out of position several times each match. You won't win matches if you can't score, but you also won't lose any if you can keep a clean sheet. Sunderland, yet again, proving they can do neither.

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic speaking to Sky Sports:

"Today was a good win and we have to keep focus and keep working and keep believing we can reach the top four. We believe in it and we will do everything we can to reach the top four.

"At the end the best team will win so the game was good and we got the 1-0 and the red card. I couldn't see if it was a red card or not but he gave it and then we played with one more. Sometimes it's more difficult but sometimes it gives you the advantage because you have one more.

"I train hard. I believe in myself and I know what I am able to do. I'm not worried. The older you are, the more experienced, the more intelligent and you don't waste energy on things you don't need. I feel like Benjamin Button. I was born old and will die young."

Sunderland, on the other hand, remain 10 points behind Hull and safety. They have seven games left and could, in theory, get to 41 points with a maximum haul.

Alternatively, they could be relegated in a few weeks' time.

  7. 'I don't like changes at the back'published at 15:24 British Summer Time 9 April 2017

    Everton v Leicester (16:00 BST)

Former Wales captain on BBC Radio 5 live

The problem you've got for Leicester is if they're thinking about the Champions League and if they haven't got their mind on this one, they could be on the wrong end of a couple of goals. It's a strange decision but one I can understand.

The one thing I don't like seeing is making changes at the back. Shakespeare has made two changes at the back and you want that continuity.

For Everton, three matches in a week is maybe a little too much for Barry hence why Schneiderlin is back. It looks like they will set up with four at the back not three at the back.

    Everton v Leicester (16:00 GMT)

Two changes for Everton from the draw against Manchester United in midweek as Morgan Schneiderlin replaces Gareth Barry it the heart of midfield.

The other switch is forced by Ashley Williams' suspension as Mason Holgate slots in alongside Phil Jagielka in the centre of defence and Matthew Pennington comes in at right-back.

    Everton

A selection with Atletico Madrid and Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final in mind?

Riyad Mahrez is dropped to the bench in one of five changes for Leicester . Marc Albrighton gets a start as Islam Slimani comes in for Shinji Okazaki in attack and Andy King replaces Wilfred Ndidi in midfield. Daniel Amartey and Ben Chilwell start at full-back.

Jeremiah Kariuki: Great goal from Marcus Rashford! That finishes the game! At least a good goal harvest for Man U!

Jack Blackburn:  Haven't seen either of them, but I get a particular pleasure when I see these guys score. They are such exciting players

Kenny Kong: Long, long overdue goal for Rashford! Vintage MUFC counter-attack but let's not pretend we're not struggling to be consistent

It could be four! Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in behind the Sunderland defence, Jordan Pickford makes himself big and sends the Swede wide, and he can't then find either a pathway to goal or to a man in blue and it's cleared.

Ian Saunders Cooper:  David Moyes may not be a poor manager, but hardly anything special I cannot remember Goodson as a fortress.

GSW 71: Expect a vote of confidence from the Sunderland board tomorrow. It's a hopeless situation for David.

Anthony David Cook: How things can change in one season- Newcastle set to return to Premier League and Sunderland and Middlesbrough to go down?

    Sunderland 0-3 Manchester United

That's a lovely goal! Manchester United wasted a golden counter earlier in the half but they bury this one. Paul Pogba slides a pass into the run of Marcus Rashford on the right, he finds Zlatan Ibrahimovic inside. he has Anthony Martial on his left but goes back to Rashford, who fires in his first league goal since September from a tight angle.

Unlucky. With no space to work in Jermain Defoe and Victor Anichebe work a one-two which ends with the England man unable to force home an effort from close range.
