    Tottenham 2-0 Bournemouth

For a second, Harry Kane looks to have muscled his way past the last Bournemouth defender, but he can't quite get away and the tackle prevents him shooting.

    Tottenham 2-0 Bournemouth

Adam Smith guts it out. From the way he is moving, I'd be surprised if he comes out for the second half.

We have two minutes of added time.

  3. Postpublished at 44 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth's afternoon gets worse. Adam Smith, formerly of these parts, falls awkwardly following a contested header and looks to have done his ankle. He thumps the turf in frustration as he receives treatment, suggesting his game could be over.

  4. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 Bournemouth

There is a third goal coming. Son should score it, but after finding space in the box his first-time shot from a pull-back from the left is straight at Boruc.

For the record, Bournemouth have yet to have a shot on target.

  5. Postpublished at 39 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 Bournemouth

Oh, inches from 3-0! Son is involved again - holding the ball up in the box before finding Eriksen for a rasping shot that just clears the crossbar.

It is brilliant to watch. Unless you're a Bournemouth fan. Or a Chelsea or Arsenal fan I imagine.

  6. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 Bournemouth

There is an exhibitionism to some of Spurs' attacking play. Harry Kane flicks the ball to Christian Eriksen, whose acrobatic shot is palmed behind by Boruc.

A short corner prompts further pressure that ends when Son's cross from the right is too high and headed clear.

    Tottenham 2-0 Bournemouth

Mauricio Pochettino's side are absolutely dominating this game but the Argentine isn't one for basking. He stands on the sidelines and bellows instructions to his players. It is such perfectionism that sets the foundations for these performances.

  8. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 Bournemouth

Oh, so nearly the perfect ball for Harry Kane to run onto in the box from Christian Eriksen. Steve Cook saves his side with a long leg to intercept.

Heung-Min Son: Surely one of Tottenham's most underrated players.

Mat VP: Increasingly annoyed how easy Spurs keep beating teams Arsenal have struggled against. Really hope Barca take Poch away...

Richard: The "Are you Arsenal in disguise?" chant is particularly amusing...

I know they said this last season but this is a very different season and I just can't see Tottenham finishing anywhere but above Arsenal.

Now this is a ball and a half. Junior Stanislas swings a ball into the corridor of uncertainty between keeper and defence but it is just a yard ahead of Benik Afobe at the back post.

They have a lot of work to do to get back into this, but the Cherries aren't out for the count just yet.

Bournemouth provide a warning to Tottenham not to switch off as they win a corner, which Steve Cook rises highest to meet but heads over.

That's why Spurs are so dangerous. The understanding between Son and Harry Kane is outstanding.

I'm sure the Chelsea players are watching...

"Wilshere, what's the score?" sings the Spurs fans before switching to "Are you Arsenal in disguise?" They're enjoying this.

Clinical and ruthless. Tottenham make it two in three minutes and it is Son Heung-Min with the goal - his eighth in in his last five games in all competitions.

Jack Wilshere's attempted pass deflects to Harry Kane, whose flick near the edge of the box is picked up by the South Korean to charge past his marker and fire a shot that gets underneath Artur Boruc and finds the net.

Dembele breaks the deadlockpublished at 17 mins

    Tottenham 1-0 Bournemouth

There is a feeling of inevitability about this.

Mousa Dembele connects well with another one, this time from closer range, to plant the ball into the back of the net following a corner. He was left in acres of space. That is Bournemouth's second error of the move.

The first is that Simon Francis left the ball to go out, convinced it was a goal-kick. It may well have been, but he could have eliminated the doubt by hammering the ball away. he had the time.
