    Watford 1-0 Swansea

It felt like both sides would need  a helping hand to get on the scoresheet. Swansea provide it first.

Alfie Mawson allows Etienne Capoue in and, although Lukasz Fabianski denies him initially, the Watford midfielder buries the loose ball at the second attempt.

    Watford 0-0 Swansea

Swansea are inviting pressure on themselves with their defence lying so deep they are practically standing on the toes of goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.

Jose Holebas cannot make them pay though as his deliveries into the box - first with a long throw, then his left foot - fail to find a yellow shirt.

Five minutes of the half to go.

    Sunderland 1-1 West Ham

Is Jordan Pickford struggling with a knock? He's glancing over nervously to the Sunderland bench. One to watch.

The home keeper wants some recovery time, but he's not getting in. Pickford watches a cross go across his goal to the back stick where Andy Carroll again turns back to Andre Ayew.

But the Hammers forward fires over. Great chance.

    Everton 0-0 Burnley

Mason Holgate twists and shoots in the Burnley penalty area, but Tom Heaton is pretty sharp in joining him on the dancefloor, going full-length to get a big hand to the effort and push it aside.

    Sunderland 1-1 West Ham

Sunderland are playing with a bit of confidence now. Maybe they can use that strong wind to good effect again in the final 10 minutes of the first half. Crisp packets are flying around the Stadium of Light like autumn leaves.

    Everton 0-0 Burnley

Sam Vokes gets a run on Phil Jagielka, but can never fully shake off the Everton defender.

His shot, when it comes, is well saved by Joel Robles. The angle he had to settle for was pretty acute though.

    Ten till half time.

  9. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:33 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Stoke 1-0 Hull

Tom Huddlestone is a picture of choirboy innocence.

Stoke midfielder Charlie Adam insists that his Hull counterpart has handled in the box. It would have been mighty harsh though considering Huddlestone had the ball walloped at him from point blank range.

    Nothing doing from the ref.

And then Arnautovic slides a side-foot effort wide from a decent position.

    Very open.

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Leicester

Not much going on at the bottom of the table. Not in terms of movement, anyway, as we hit the half-hour mark.

Crystal Palace will be relieved to know neither Hull or Swansea winning.

But the Eagles aren't looking like getting back level themselves at the moment, Andros Townsend drilling a 20-yard shot against Marc Albrighton's face. Ouch.

    Watford 0-0 Swansea

Troy Deeney is denied by a fantastic save by Lukasz Fabianski in the Swansea goal, seeing his poked effort tipped over the top from Daryl Janmaat's cross.

Well, you don't see that very often! Such whip and curl on the ball, and maybe the wind influenced it, and the ball actually went in off the base of the far post. What an effort from Wahbi Khazri - what a goal that was!

    Stoke 1-0 Hull

A difficult chance for Hull's Lazar Markovic as the ball comes over his shoulder, but he almost beats Lee Grant in the Stoke goal with a bouncing bomb of an effort.

Harry Maguire sees a shot deflected over shortly after.

They are made of sterner stuff under Marco Silva. While he has been in charge, Hull have earned an unrivalled nine points from losing positions.

    Sunderland 1-1 West Ham

They've almost forgotten how to celebrate! Sunderland score at home for the first time since 14 January - and it is a fluke.

Goal - Wahbi Khazri. Assist - The Wind.

Khazri, making his first start since October, swings in a corner and it flies past Hammers keeper Darren Randolph, whose vision is blocked by Victor Anichebe's bulky frame.

    All square!

    Watford 0-0 Swansea

M'Baye Niang wins a free-kick for Watford right on the edge with a run that twists and turns more than Alberto Tomba.

He dusts himself off to take it, but Lukasz Fabianski has plenty of time to drop on his low effort.

    Sunderland 0-1 West Ham

    Invention? 10/10. Execution? 1/10.

Wahbi Khazri thinks quickly to pull back a free-kick from the left flank to Darron Gibson, but the Sunderland midfielder shanks his 20-yard shot wide.

A few words between the pair, more than a few groans from the home fans.

    Sunderland 0-1 West Ham

Jordan Pickford shows us why he has been named on the PFA Young Player of the Year shortlist. The Sunderland keeper pushes out Robert Snodgrass' curling effort from outside the box.

One dreads to think how many more goals Sunderland would have conceded this season without the young Englishman.

West Ham deserving of their lead as we approach the 25-minute mark.

    Watford 0-0 Swansea

Swansea are getting plenty of time on the ball, but are doing little with it at Vicarage Road. An immaculate surface - early August standard turf - by the way.

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Leicester

Palace's first real chance of the game - and it falls to Christian Benteke. But the Eagles top scorer only shoots against the left foot of Kasper Schmeichel. A Schmeichel-esque block from the Leicester keeper. Wonder where he learned that....
