  1. CLOSE!published at 15:20 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Everton 0-0 Burnley

    So close!

Michael Keane meets George Boyd's corner at the far post with a forceful head and Joel Robles is well beaten but Ross Barkley is back on the line to save the Everton goalkeeper's bacon with a header off the line.

Moments later, Matt Lowton's skimming cross very nearly picks out Ashley Barnes.

    A even contest.

    Sunderland 0-1 West Ham

Things have quietened down at the Stadium of Light. On the pitch and in the home stands. The travelling 'Ammers are 'appily singing away though, chanting the name of manager Slaven Bilic. Is Slav still under pressure? Not if they win this and move closer to safety.

    Stoke 1-0 Hull

Stoke are making hay while the sun shines in the Potteries.

Xherdan Shaqiri takes a little too long in the penalty box and a Hull defender manages to get a block in when the goal was beckoning.

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Leicester

All Leicester so far. Another set-piece for the visitors, who see Mamadou Sakho head out Marc Albrighton's inswinging free-kick for a corner.

Sakho has been outstanding since joining Palace. Sentences you never thought you would write.

The corner comes in and Robert Huth is right in the thick of things again. This time for being over-zealous and giving away a free-kick.

    Everton 0-0 Burnley

Everton are making all the early running. Anchorman Idrissa Gueye gets in on the act, drilling into the body of Tom Heaton from a tight angle.

    Watford 0-0 Swansea

It has been a pretty quiet start to things at Vicarage Road.

Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has made a smart stop from Gylfi Sigurdsson.

He is less convincing though as he comes from a cross, screws his haymaker punch across goal and almost sees Fernando Llorente nod in at the back stick.

    Spanish La Liga

Real Madrid are playing Sporting Gijon this afternoon and boss Zinedine Zidane makes nine changes from the side who beat Bayern Munich - with Tuesday's second leg in mind.

There's no Cristiano Ronaldo, no Gareth Bale, no Karim Benzema, no Keylor Navas.

Find out how Real's second-string get on here.

  8. 'Sunderland gave West Ham so much space'published at 15:13 British Summer Time 15 April 2017

    Sunderland 0-1 West Ham United

    Leon Osman
Ex-Everton midfielder at Stadium of Light for 5 live Sport

That is a really good touch and finish from Andre Ayew, but Sunderland gave Sam Byram so much space to cross the ball.

He had all the time in the world to pop that ball in, whereas if you're defending a side playing Andy Carroll up front you must cut off the crosses.

In the end it was a sloppy goal to concede.

Any response from Sunderland? A small one. John O'Shea heads straight at Hammers keeper Darren Randolph from a free-kick. Tame.

    It should be two!

Marko Arnautovic is presented with a chance on a platter as the ball is dinked into the penalty area, but the Austrian volleys high and handsome over the bar.

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Leicester

Where's the marking?! It is not as though giant Leicester defender Robert Huth is inconspicuous.

The big man escapes his marker to head in Christian Fuchs' long-throw. Simple.

    Stoke 1-0 Hull

Marko Arnautovic puts his size nine through the back of the ball from the edge of the area to send a shot fizzing past Eldin Jakupovic in the Hull goal.

The Tigers have work to do to turn around their miserable away record.

    Sunderland 0-1 West Ham

David Moyes looks as sick as a dog. His team, already 10 points adrift of safety, are behind after just five minutes.

Andy Carroll miskicks an angled shot, the ball falling straight to Andre Ayew inside the six-yard box. He takes a touch, and his time, before coolly slotting in.

Former Newcastle striker Carroll particularly enjoys it...

An early free-kick position for Burnley.

Robbie Brady gives his signal and lofts the ball into the box. Phil Jagielka's header doesn't get the ball fully away and Michael Keane has a hack as it bobbles towards him.

    Ball behind for a corner.

What have you got in the time-of-Lee-Cattermole's-yellow-card sweepstake? Anyone who guessed 37 seconds gets the pot.

The Sunderland midfielder brings down Andre Ayew about 30 yards out. Hammers free-kick...

And Cattermole is saved further punishment by his keeper Jordan Pickford, who dives full length to his left to push out Manuel Lanzini's curling effort.
