  2. Derby day in the Highlandspublished at 14:25 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

Inverness CT v Ross County (15:00)

The stakes are high in the Highland derby.

Bottom club Caley Thistle are battling for top flight survival and their near neighbours are only four points better off.

Richie Foran's men have shown fight of late, losing just one of their past five league games, while County have lost five of their last seven.

Having endured a run of eight without a league win in this fixture, Jim McIntyre's visitors have prevailed 3-2 in both of this season's meetings.

  4. 'Interference is not acceptable'published at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    FT: Aberdeen 2-0 Hearts

Both Willie Miller and Allan Preston have been highlighting the moment during the game when Hearts director of football Craig Levein passed on a message via Jon Daly to Ian Cathro in the dugout.

"You can't have that interference. I don't think it is acceptable," they agreed.

Whether or not the former Scotland manager's advice would have been welcome, it will again fuel the debate, as it was under previous head coach Robbie Neilson, about how much influence Craig Levein has on team affairs.

Generally, I thought Hearts were inept, weak and their tactics of moving back to front were wrong. Aberdeen managed to pass the ball extremely well and it was an all-round performance that will have pleased the home fans

  11. Rangers look for lift-off under Caixinhapublished at 14:13 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

    Rangers v Hamilton (15:00)

Accies earned a draw on their last league visit to Ibrox this season but it was a different story a fortnight ago when Rangers hit them for six in the Scottish Cup.

The home side will be buoyed by last weekend's last gasp draw at Celtic Park and the players will want to impress new gaffer Pedro Caixinha.

The visitors have shipped 10 goals in their last two outings, so manager Martin Canning might be forgiven for adopting a cautious approach as he bids to steer his team clear of relegation trouble.

  12. FULL-TIME Aberdeen 2-0 Heartspublished at 14:08 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2017

A ninth successive league victory at home means Aberdeen move to within 22 points of Celtic, which means the leaders can't now secure the title tomorrow away to Dundee.

They also move 11 points clear of third-placed Rangers and ends Hearts' hopes of challenging for the runners-up spot.

Indeed, St Johnstone will overtake Hearts and move into third place should they win away to Motherwell today.

Hearts look like a side who want this to be over. The little wind that was in their sails has been well and truly knocked out by Aberdeen's second. The Dons want more though and they look more than capable
